It's called overtime at YCCC.

They dont get paid to stay after the game, their $$$ shift finishes at 6 oclock.

Plus they would be recieving appearance fees from the likes of the Seddon Hotel that night, why bother staying back for a beer?

Best thing about playing at YCCC- old blokes in the lazy green trackies with mocco's on, plenty of cold frothies (they like the light ice) pizza's delivered,sometimes chicken and chips and dont have to socialise cause no-one hangs around except the opposition!!!!! Could be a reason why Bake's heads to Cooper st on a thursday!!!!!!

Their points would have dropped form 16 for an outright, to 11 for 1st innings win to 3 for a draw |@ .

The comp should consider a reserve Sunday when all play is lost for the round for everyone.

Doutta have had an injury ridled season with the likes of Rutley,Wigmore,Tate,Glennister,Tankard,McKindlay missing games and i could be wrong but big bloke from Darwin might not have played at the start of the season and thus far they seemed to have covered it pretty well.

They have lost two games both by less the 20 runs i think, so i dont think they will drop the last three games and should figure prominately in the finals

And re: Doutta not being able to play Chelsea due to wash out both weeks well thats just bad luck i reckon,im sure they would have liked to play the bottom side and notch up a heap of points well unfortunately you win some and you lose some.

Dudded again... Could it be true that the VTCA deliberately scheduled Doutta to play Chelsea on those weekends knowing that there would be heavy rain? Could it also be true that the VTCA ordered no covers on that Thursday night just so Doutta could not possibly get a game up those weekends?

It must be so hard to compete when the whole competition is so clearly against you. Let it be known you have my sympathy....
