Rumour is it will be warmish on Saturday eitherway. Will APW and RPB be disadvantaged given the fact both their oppositions managed to bat out the full allotment of overs. YC a fair chance of rolling SC in quick time before the Heat Rule kicks in?

Didn't see it but was pleasantly suprised by his score. I have been critical of him as he hasn't made a lot of runs for a paid player but I'm sure OEG would have been rapped with the innings. What sort of a person / player is he?

In all my time playing I have never been involved in a match where it has beehn called off because of the heat, so this will be a first. It has to reach 38? in central Melbourne so perhaps we are being a bit premature.
If in case games are called off at say 3pm, McKinnon, Keilor and Yarraville look like they may win by then. No doubt if Bakes gets in early he will want to score quickly. This may end up costing APW who should still get 320 on their postage stamp but you would think would have to wait until 5pm to pass the score. Promises to be an intruiging day.

Also a couple of interesting by parts of the Hoppers v Willy game.

Capt Araldite is no longer the decision maker so its easy to understand why he doesnt bowl so much...
when yr getting paid per wicket run at the other clubs and you make the bowling choices it aint hard to put 2 and 2 together

Baker hasnt scored at all this year,home or away to old.
As 4 the rest Batcholli and Dope will make the runs themself
even without o keffe.
Interesting next couple of games-will Doutta tank 4 draft choices
Will a north side finally get relagated,will Mario,Tesonis,Graham
Mc Farlane,o keffe,frydas and every other over 45s finally hang
the bat up?

look into this game,all over in 40 odd overs?Declaring their 1st inn
closed Matthews must have been paid in Mc Donald vouchers.

Its the bonus points rule that cause this - YP get no reward for trying to stick around and save an outright, once they cant win on 1st inns its in their interests to get a 4 inns match going to get more points....
Similar issue in North A - FUCC v Flem in rd 11 couple of years back caused some controversy but both teams were clearly acting in their own interests in both cases, so hard to point finger.....

This game is an absolute dsgrace, and if the VTCA doesnt do anything about it then the comp is screwed. Matthews and Hutchinson got together before the game and it was agreed YP would declarae, and give Keilor every chance to get 250+ ahead as quick as possible, and then see if YP could chase them down. Fact is, YP are hopeless and were no chance so Keilor get an easy outright win.
Porter was smashing boundaries at will, and YP did not have one player on the boundary!!!!!!!!!! Matthews and Hutchinson should face disciplinary action for their part in this debarcle. How is the competition even, when we have a bonus pts system and teams are throwing in the towell at 8fa???
