Western Suburbs Churches Cricket Association 2010/11

congrats on the win guys. Gooky, you should be ashamed of yourself by sinking that low to win the comp.

Out of the 14 players that were in the squad, only 4 people came from the churches. I am looking at where they usually play, not one of the games turf was called off.

So in the squad you had 1 1st XI subbie, 1 overseas player playing north division (second highest) in the VTCA, 1 overseas player in A1 (3rd highest) of VTCA, another player from A1 of VTCA, 5 players from A2 (second division) of the Williamstown Comp, 1 B2 (seconds) of Williamstown Comp. Oh and the 4 churches players.

Cheaters, cheaters, cheaters! Get guys from your own comp, not ur 20/20 one where alastair cook can play. Maybe you can get him to play in the next championships, or Harbi, or Sachin.

so the team had more than a few "bandits" in the team, what a shame. Hope the boys had a good trip.

trip was great. cheers to Peter and Steve. Yes, some of us dont regularly play in the WSUCCA, but with limited cricket this summer, those who were able to play in the lower grades did so, and so became eligible. Those who did play, played because they wanted to, not because they were courted by Gooky and co. I spent 6 days with these boys, we won it because we all wanted to be there and to do the job.

Congratulations to all the players and officals involved sounds like a top effort from all. To all the winges complaining about non wsucca players all have played wsucca this year, either 20/20 one dayers or 2 dayers which not many have been played due to weather. The tournament is every 2 years so why wouldnt the players who played last year also be eligeable. As usual the same people having a windge, if you were good enough to be selected and were available you would have got selected, so stop complaining, if you could better put your hand up and stop bitching. well done to the wsucca team.

The side was mainly 20/20 players, which is fine but not many played one dayers or two dayers. our club have a one day side and we never recieved any info re try outs.
