most of my senior cricket has been indoor cricket, a bloke in my team bowled around 130kmh of 4 steps, but it felt like 140 under those crappy lights, i watched the same bowler play outdoor cricket as well and he still only bowled of a few steps, he reckons he feels more balanced that way. he was a nasty bowler as well, he"d prefer to hurt you than get you out lol.:eek:

Harper has been known to bowl some extremely quick spells, looks like you were on the end of one of them !! Thankfully for the batsmen of Geelong he has probably slowed down a bit over the years due to dodgy knees and his extremely quick spells are few and far between, but in saying that he cleaned us up in last seasons grand final well and truly !! So it is still there but not as potent all the time.
