covers got damaged by water?now thats a new one.more like they didnt want to play or as they did against us, the rain got there before they did.

well surprise surprise wests covers blew off,biggest cheats in comp.have you guys been training w/vale. ive heard nothing of punch up,but after looking at blokes that played that day i understand you wouldnt want another punch up,one bloke from grand could hurt a few based on reputation.ex coach maybe. tips for tomorrow
grand v cheats i picked cheats last time,they let old titb down i will stick with them this time.cheats for me

Covers get blown off at West Newport & Newport digman during storms. Heathdale, no covers. All these games start on time. But no such luck at GU. Right arm over the wicket was so wet you couldn't stand on it. Nothing suss there. Was this GU way of protesting against the draw?

I can assure you that G.U wanted to play as much as anyone. Carl Commo was there until all hours on Friday night trying to get the pitch up, even put bricks and anything else heavy he could find on top of the covers to ensure the covers were not going to blow off. Unfortunately, the amount of rain we had meant that a large pool of water sat on top off the ground down one end. Unless you had extraordinarily long covers, there was nothing that could be done to avoid this happening. This also happened 2 seasons ago when G.U were to play Footscray ANA. So in conclusion, your paranoia is misguided.

Im stating the obvious, but its going to be an exciting run to the finals. havent had this in a long time.

Have you seen the A2 ladder, 12 points between first & last. All can make the finals, all can miss out. 12 important games to go!
