Congratulations to Willy Imps finishing on top of the ladder today & from all reports celebrating like they won the flag! Haha. We'll just put that one down to inexperience due to the fact they are playing a side in the semi that beat them last time out. Anyway good luck to all teams participating in the finals & may the best sides win.

Our lads just celebrated a good win over an emerging team & quality club in Point Cook. Top bunch of blokes & well lead by Groves.

Considering the Imps were 4-35 & recovered to 175 last week & then Point Cook were cruising at 1-51 in 37 degrees & to win by 9 runs in the end was a fine way to finish off the home & away season.

well well well.......... do i detect you being a little bit facetious in your congratulations......if not thank you.......but i suspect the reason your a little upset is more to with who the cheats have to play this weekend more than our celebrating a hard fought victory.........funny how you chose to arrive at our game and not a team you may play in the semi final......if yesterdays heroes could have seen the look of absolute dissapointment or fear on your guys faces as we took that final wicket.........
as i posted earlier in the season we will finish on top and take the easy semi against the cabbies.........while down at loft will be a mouthwatering contest between yesterdays heroes and the cheats.....or lets hope its a mouthwatering contest and not a wicket watering one???????????????????

Will Willy Imps finish on top of the ladder? Theres still the matter of the players who played in A1 on the Sunday in the catch up for round 3 who played in hard wicket games on the day turf games were called off. There was a message on the comp webbsite saying anyone who played that day would be ineligble to play in the A1 catch up game. 3 clubs played players both days, Willy Imps Luke Hudson, GU Jezza Preston, Wyndhamvale Dolly Dolery. these clubs will have there points from the catch up game taken off them and that will mean West Npt go to top, Willy Imps 2, Colts 3, GU 4.

caz caz caz you should no thats not right,sunday game was considered a new round and anyone available could play........sounds like sour grapes caz............even when west newport lose they still try to cheat.....

Cassidy 64 runs at 12.8. Easton jones 124 runs at 17.7. T Jones 193 runs at 21.4. Adamson 78 runs at 7.8. Shiell 180 runs at 22.5.

Hardly finals worthy hey? But wait, whats that? Corey Irving has taken 34 wickets you say??? 23 of them have come against Gellibrand and Newport digman.In 3 games versus imps and G.U he has taken, wait for it....THE GRAND SUM OF 3 WICKETS!

Where has Hick and grandaddy Mcdonald been when all this has been going down? The only thing surer than failure for this mob is a dodgy deck.

Yes we also got an email from the association that players that played Round 3 in the matting grades were not eligible to play in the A Turf make up game.
