Witnessed some poor umpiring today BU v heidelberg.
Both officials will be in Mash shield next week. Very ordinary..
On another note I’m not sure why the doggies continue with some guys that are past it. Time for the stickman to give it away.

thought doggies bowled and fielded well but batting was poor. can’t keep relying on Thompson (who has struggled this year). will need to recruit a couple top order bats next year to be competitive. Credit to bergs arguably the best bowling attack in barclay

Imagine being a BU supporter/player and potting one of your own..
 
Doesn't get much tougher than seeing a batting team make almost 400 on a sweltering day, and only getting 2 wickets. Would be draining to say the least.

15/120 in a day of cricket is astonishing.

Is it just hard to score on the ground or has the bowling been excellent?

Id say the bowling has been tight combined with both sides currently struggling to put a decent score on the board for a fair stretch of the season. Quick glance at Macleod results and getting Wise in early isn't an issue for bowling teams ( best opening partnership of 22 , and around 6 opening digs all in single digits )

We played on that ground recently and they dumped a lot of sand on it, assuming getting ready for footy. Ground is that slow shots that should be 4 are singles making 90 is like 150 plus
