Both sides look to have been weakened significantly through unavailabilities.
Mount Clear were always going to struggle without Blake and Kentish.
Darley were without Cape again, he must've been unavailable next week because he made 130 in the seconds.

Although Wendouree appear to be in the box seat to claim 4th spot I still think it is fairly open.
Ballarat/Redan are a decent shot at making 321 against Brown Hill who dont have any gun bowlers.
Also, judging by Darley's performance on the weekend Naps...

I dont think there would have been anything sinister involved, Parker is just a shocking runner between wickets.
He ran out two blokes when we played them last year.

It's not really that competitive.
You have two teams well on top (Mt Clear and East), four middle sides (G.Point, B'rat/Redan, Naps and Wendouree) and four very poor sides with no depth (Darley, Brown Hill, Coronet and Nth Ballarat). The bottom four sides...

The fourth spot will probably be won by the team that can secure an outright win as each of Wendouree, Ballarat/Redan and Naps play sides like Darley, Coronet City, Nth Ballarat and Brown Hill twice.
