I'm hearing all not well down at creek, sturg too hard on blokes and a lot not keen on him. Think it just shows how much these old pitches helped mediocrity bowling!

. Obviously not an ideal start but fair to say that the tweaks we made after the Rosanna game have had a very positive effect. Full credit to the club for listening and Tom and the players for embracing the input. The finish on Saturday was stellar and full credit to both teams on a great game.Weekend warrior

Your thoughts on yesterday's game brutal ? Me , personally, I have never seen such poo being delivered in the last half hour before tea. It resembled 5th grade at best.

Doubt it. What's this I here about your skipper being involved in a controversial dismissal yesterday? Rumour has it that a Bundoora bat left his crease after playing a shot, to pick up a ball to give to a fielder when T.Wise said 'don't worry mate I'll get it'. He then promptly picked up the ball and ran the bloke out. Umpire asked him if he was sure he wanted dismissal to stand and Tim said 'yeah 100 percent'. One of those not against the rules but definitely not in the spirit cricket situations.
While I'm at it the SFOPCC were a disgrace yesterday. One well known individual is tolerated at that place and invites some very ordinary behaviour amongst his team mates and other club members and should be encouraged to give it away. For a 50 year old bloke to carry on the way he does is an embarrassment. It's an ordinary time when our club president has to instruct our senior players to make sure no young player leaves the change room alone unescorted. I'm led to believe that the umpires will following up with a report against the club.
