Agsv

Re: Agsv

G'day boys,
I'm from a school from outside the AGS but we are playing ACK in a 'exhibition' game for all intents and purposes against them next week.
I have heard all about this Tallon Wright but is he the only player they have ?
Anyone to watch out for?

Re: Agsv

Results from rescheduled 2020, as expected ACK spanks PEGS at ACK. Steep learning curve for the young PEGS team this year, again. Still, hopefully by the time next year comes round the boys will be hardened veterans of AGSV cricket.

does anyone no if there is a heat policy for AGSV cricket??

yeah i've been thinking the same thing, not too sure about it though. i'm guessing that they would have some sort of regulation, who knows whether it will be put into action though...
we will just have to wait n see

Re: Agsv

all agsv cricket has been cancelled this week due to the heat even though cricket is played in summer.......................

Re: Agsv

Strange decisions to make so early. It's not only cricket though, it's all AGSV sport.

Surely they should have waited until tomorrow to make a decision. Anyway, shorten the game and play them in the morning or just harden up.

Re: Agsv

this is probably a stupid question however:
Will last round's games called off due to heat be re-played or just equal amount of points to all sides?

I'm pretty sure they'll be played at the end of the season.

penna cough, penna cough

i have a feeling savio will turn up with those devestating boundries,
least that may keep the critics quiet of peninsulas ability tonot being able to have an agsv century maker
i have no doubt we will put 250 on the board!

good one slogger.... it seems we put on 250 nd u blokes didn't manage to even break three figures.

afew of us already had agsv 50s to our name before the start of the season
last year we relied on 2 batsmen to make our runs, and thats where we came un stuck
this year,we are more mature, all top age players now, well most of our team is and we are confident in our own abilitys
several players in our team are capable of making big 50s and even get to the 100, but i still believe depth is peninsulas key atm
and also, we will be seeing you assumptions boys on our turf, so we will be hearng the excuses about the travel the pitch etc.

so slogger....mind telling me what your excuses are for your pathetic performance today mate???

also clearly you shouldnt have been so confident in your ability lol...

also in case nebody is wondering...Assumption 255... Peninsula 80
