Australia In England, The Ashes 2013

The pitch is looking a bit like a dead flat track. Will see how we go but poor start with Harris looking tired and Watson all over the shop.

Gee Robot's radar is off today.

There was a GWS Giants jumper in the crowd lol, what are the odds of seeing that? St Kilda also copping a thrashing on the other channel tonight Warney :)

Pretty uneventful first session with England getting to 1-59.

Good on Mark Waugh for calling Tony Hill out on being sh*t.

Yep he was ordinary again, can not see an edge so why is he at the top level again?
On another note we finished well for about 9/258 with Lyon bowling well. Really happy for the bloke and i hope they don't drop him for the fifth test now. It is about the record the selectors have, every time Lyon has a good game he gets dropped for the next wizz kid.

Went to bed a bit earlier last night so I missed a lot of it so good news to wake up to, well done to Lyon.

Still I wont get too excited until we see Australia bat given what we've seen from them this series it's hard to get too confident..

4 for 103, Rogers with some luck has got his 50. Tough going batting out there with the ball seaming..

Broad appealing for an LBW that hit the middle of the bat, what a clown.

And Rogers gets his 100! Watson also playing well for 68 and unlucky to knock one down the leg side. Australia in a good position to get a decent lead now only 5 down and 27 behind.

top stuff from Rogers. He has cemented his spot for mine. Tough day out there and with Clarke missing out some one had to step up and yes Watson did a good job. Need to put another 150 on tomorrow to grab this thing by the throat.

Had to laugh at the POMS over the Rogers decision on the DRS. The appeal was for caught behind and that was clearly not out, as the umpire had not judged him for LBW he was default not out and the video did not present enough evidence to over turn the decision. Really how thick are they?

lol, surely Tony Hill has to get sacked, the worst performance I've ever seen from an umpire in a series.

To not kick on and only get a lead of 32, still a great recovery from where Australia were. Shaping up for a very good Test match.

Bell's century puts them in a good position now at 5 down and a lead of 202, Australia need to somehow knock them over quickly if it goes past something like 300 you can kiss the game goodbye.

It seems strange to think that Bell struggled against New Zealand and in the world cup not long ago. Good on him though. I always enjoy watching him bat.

Harris's ball to bowl Root was a cracker! Reminded me of Anderson to Clarke a few weeks ago. Reminded me of Zaheer Khan to Ponting at the G 5 or so years ago.

Well done to Rogers on the ton, Hopefully the first of more than to be expected!

Cool turn on the TV and Harris has knocked over Bell and Prior, 7 down for a for a lead of 227. Just can't let the tail wag...

So 299 is the target.. Very difficult but certainly not impossible, I hope they at least give it a bit of a shake.

1 for 120 at tea after Rogers falls to Swann for 49, surprisingly solid start from Australia and Warner finding some form. Still a long way to go though.. Massive final session coming up.
