Australia v India

Re: Australia v India

I can only help but feel Australia on the recieving end of a bad declaration.

Ofcourse India never had a fair chance due to rain, but Australia played superbly for nothing it seems.

Ahh well, they've got back into the rhythem of 50ov cricket, but Clarke must have felt a bit 20/20 style coming

Re: Australia v India

It's not looking promising for tomorrows game, after a sudden 20 minute shower drenched the ground at Kochi.

I'm not an expert on the pitch but judging by reports it doesn't have the greatest drainage and a similar shower (which are forecast) could well wash the game out.

As for teams, I expect Australia to remain largely unchanged. India are resting Ganguly due to his hamstring injury.

Re: Australia v India

The chances of a match taking place tomorrow are very slim. It has been raining a lot in Kochi and more rain is predicted tomorrow. The groundsmen say that it is going to to be very hard for them to get the ground ready if it rains tonight.

Re: Australia v India

Useful start by Australia, with Hayden looking in from.

If these two continue then you would Australia would be looking for another score of around 300.

124 - 3 of 25 overs so far.

Re: Australia v India

Looks the weather department was wrong yet again. Australia have scored a total similar to the last match. Hayden, Symonds and Haddin scored brilliant fifties. India will look for similar performance from their batsmen. India didn't like to chase in the Twenty20 WC so this will test them.

Re: Australia v India

India are in deep trouble with 4 wickets down and a long way to go it looks like the game is in the bag for Australia.

Re: Australia v India

im very disappointed... india played bad shots early to get out and the indian bowlers are not doing well... india should have batted first... but they didnt perform well by bowling and batting too in this match

Re: Australia v India

Sreesanth deserves being hit in the head.

ahahahahahahahahagb7.png

In all seriousness, that must of hurt bad.

Mod: Please don't swear.

Re: Australia v India

india were going to lose after they had lost thos 4 wickets in 12 overs.they never looked to be in the game.

Re: Australia v India

india played badly today :( but i hope that they learn something and do well in the rest of the series.yvraj and sachin got out to bad shots by playing straight to the fielder.why did dhoni waste so much time in the end by playing defensively.it isnt a test match

Re: Australia v India

I've not actually seen it but from all accounts Indias discipline was again in question, Sreesanth needs to be getting some kind of talks from the older guys on how to keep those emotions down, and let them out in his delivery strides.

Sachin's six from Lee was memorable, showing he still has it, but not as consistant.

I think Australia thrive from sledging, or bad talking, or whatever you want to call it, so my advice would be that the Indians dont get overly aggresive, as the WC's will come out on top

How dare he not be intimidated by the Aussies. C'mon, be serious mate, he is no more arrogant than the Australians.

Re: Australia v India

I do think im happy about that bit to the head, he does deserve it,

You're right, he is just as arrogent as the Aussies, but is also as cocky as them, you cant be cocky and not deliver the goods. I'm afraid as a team India dont deliver them! Its like the Royal Mail, good sometimes, other times shocking ;)

Yes, he is annoying but if criticise him, criticise the Aussies too.

Which brings me onto my next topic, Sreesanth, Harbhajan and the Aussies are idiots:p. Why use words on the field unless it is a short sharp comments, these mid match conversations are tedious and embarrassing to watch.

Something like Mcgrath bowling a bouncer and saying a four letter profanity (followed by you) and then turning back to his mark is fine but what happened today is not.

Re: Australia v India

Harbijan has a history, Sreesanth has a more glamorous one, with the England series then the WC!

But, lets be honest, the Aussie didnt do anything over the top, only when Harbijan in particular gave them a bit too much, they reacted and ofcourse Andrew Symonds lead the voices it seemed.

Re: Australia v India

it is foolish to say that he deserves a blow on the head.it can cause serious injury and even death.if he says too much then you hope the batsmen should give him a reply with the bat instead of geting happy if he gets hurt.
