I just came from college. after australia got 300 I thought we will be in losing position but sourav and sachin done really well. Why they sent Pathan? Uthappa is a very good hitter and a better batsman.

yeah after poor performance in previous matches i didnt have much expectation.but i think this pitch is very good and we have the old partnership of tendulkar and ganguly. ganguly should now play the anchor and let others take more chances.i would have sent uthappa but pathan could fire as well.

Although we have 7 wickets remaining, the problem India face now is that they have to score at 9-10 an over and dont have any settled batsman. Yuvraj doesn't look too comfortable, we really need a good innings from Yuvraj to win this one.
He's out as I was about to post. Australia are on top atm.

Uthappa should have been sent at 3. He showed exactly how good a player he is and at 3 he would have had the opportunity to play a longer innings and also maintain a left-right batting combination. India lost the plot in the middle overs, Dravid looks woefully out of touch and sending him above Yuvraj wasn't the right decisions. In my opinion these few changes in the batting order cost us the match after we were well placed at 140-0. That said, the bowling could have been better.

i reckon its going to be 5-1 would have been 6-1 if the rain didnt save india in the first match. i think we've proven a point here that we are still the team to beat even though india might have won the t20. the indians got carried away and were actually thinking they could beat us.

India have seemingly been outplayed in this series, just confirms that the Australians are the long time kings of the 50 over game.

hmy: i stopped watching because india bowl so badly..... even pathan was bad......now i wish they dont start bad bowling again and let australia take 300 runs..

It was all due to a great over by Murali Karthik. But as long as Ponting is there 280-300 is still possible but the wicket of Symonds was very crucial since he has bailed Australia out of trouble in the previous matches. India still need to get one more wicket, we've seen in previous matches that Australia has been in similar position but still reached 300.
