Australia vs England - The Ashes 2021/22

They're better off blooding young will pucovski as a future opener.
Already have. Personally I'd prefer Will was down the order away from the hard new cherry. I know that does not mean he is still not going to be peppered with short stuff down there, but it will be a softer ball. May well be a mute point as Will, himself, says he has no problem with the short ball.

Going to be touch critical of the skipper's bowling. Betting he is not producing as many maidens this series as he appears to be bowling more four balls than previously.

Line and length today is what the aussies what should aim for and the poms will shoot themselves in the foot otherwise it will be a guaranteed draw.

Line and length today
Shame we dont have our premier seamer Josh Hazlewood to provide the smothering accuracy he is reknowned for. Scotty Boland has surprised me with his accuracy too. This pair would have made a good tandem act over this series.

I dont think these rain bands will save the Poms as they HAVE bypassed Sydney. BOM tho says likely thunderstorms in the late arvo may be their saving grace. Having said that did Cummins declare too soon as this deck does not hold any demons.

Root's wicket again the key.

Has Cummins declared too soon as this deck holds no demons. and the Poms are going at a good click.
