Not from this year. Home team to supply 6 stumps and all of the bails, like every other comp in the state of Victoria and if not the country. However you still need to provide your own afternoon tea.

every other competition in the world provides afternoon tea as well. except for our beloved BCA.

I cant believe you get fined for writing naps/sebas. Thats worse than the revenue the goernments get out of speed cameras.

What makes it even worse was the fact that it was either our 3rds or u/16s that were the ones fined for it!!!!

Discussion about clearances start and our Golden Point friends SteveO and big guy go into hiding.
Has the club imposed a ban on discussing the matter?

We have all seen the P Moore to Darley one coming for some time.

Any other movements taking place?

Not at all. Some of us have to work. You Darley blokes can probably spend all day down at the local community centre or Centrelink using their free internet connection but I've got to put food on the table.

By the way, we knocked back Pete's clearance. Your move.

It has probably been said on here but i've missed it because of all the other high class discussion points.

What is the reason Moore wants to leave Golden Point? Has he moved to the are? Sorry if I missed it

any chance the point v darley game could get moved to a sunday, so the rest of the comp can come along, have a few jars & enjoy 2 sides sledge the living f*ck out of each other? this is shaping as 2 teams really not getting along, i love that sh*t!!!!@|

You just don't poach young blokes that have been brought up through the ranks. We wouldn't do it and I reckon the majority of Ballarat clubs wouldn't either.

Poor form.

ummmm hang on now Steve O. So Golden Point weren't actively courting one Brendon Burns in the recent past????????

And i could've sworn I can recall a few years ago one Steve O'Loughlin continually persuading a Johnny Bray to leave Naps and join Point. To the point where Point's board member at the time Neil Lee contacted Johnny Bray about joining Point. and the reason Neil Lee contacted Johnny was because it was suggested to him by 1 Steve O'Loughlin that he should do so.

these are only examples I'm aware of and I'm sure there's been others

Fair enough you're disappointed about the current chain of events but don't go as far to try and claim Point are holier then thou............

Crazy Rules! Next youre gunna tell me the BCA use a white ball in one day games, but allow teams to bowl wearing white shirts!

Imagine that... facing up to a David Dodd, Wayne Hucker, Shane Harwood, Norm Hughes, or dare i say it Mick Lewis from Darley while they are bowling in a white shirt with a white ball.

Giving Matt Cape your business card after playing them last year and on the back of it saying. You can coach Golden Point next year, call to discuss remuneration...... Capey didnt show me the card but it was words to that effect anyway. I would have thought that Capey has played all his junior career at Darley...

Rumours alo swirling that you rang the DCC president drunk & abusive recently as well.

I do sense the start of a great rivalry. Have been looking for one since we joined. Can we call it the Peter Moore cup?????

Yes we do. With white sightscreens. We also dont allow gloves or a box in our competition.

geez rider, youve stirred the bees nest now

got no problem with Point being disappointed and angry about the whole affair.

bit like me being cheesed off with Heath Shaw getting himself suspended on the eve of super coach finals

But doesn't mean it gives me free reign to have a crack at Heath Shaw when in the past I may have been guilty of doing the very thing Heath did......
