Darwin & District Cricket - 2012

I don't think it matters really who Palmerston bring in or out. PINT are looking to shed the chokers tag, I'm not sure what the stats are but I think it is like 1 flag in 8 attempts?

The rumour mill for next season has already started, Calkin is said to be leaving Nightcliff, his boss sponsors PINT which is likely to influence his decision.

The other is Udara looking for another club, either PINT, Waratah or Darwin.

The grand finals for the coming weekend are;

A - Palmerston vs PINT
B - Darwin vs Palmerston
C - Palmerston vs
D - Darwin vs Waratah
E - Southern Districts vs Darwin
U17 - Darwin vs Nightcliff
U15 - Southern Districts vs Darwin
U13 - Tracy Village vs

Robins rumoured to be involved in a move to Darwin, however rego is yet to be signed. I don't think Udara will bhe heading to PINT as they already have Logan and he needs to bowl as many overs as possible. As for Calkin, it's the first I have heard and being the social butterfly I am I would have expected to know this by now.

Pemble and Mick Miller Back to Palmo in 2013 Bell will be in talks with Darwin and Tahs! Well Everyone will be on tahs list you would think with gardener leaving. TV would be out for locals as well? surly players in 2nd xi wanting a grade games tahs and villege have sopts galoure and with nightcliff and SD shallow the opportuites are everywhere! Nick Berry could be the only captian to keep his job in 2013?

Bell wasnt changing once but we have seen the outcome there! how do u know pemble wont be? forgot about gibson he will still be captian unless udara goes there? I was under the impression Burton was captian wait doolan was captian wait flynn maybe doolan or Burton who knows who runs the show down there!!!

Districts had Bobby Wilson and once he was unavailable for the last game Adrian Dale took over and did a decent job for someone who hasn't ever done it before. Tracey are in shambles not only on the field but also behuind closed doors, ie. Cav. Udara surely won't go to Nightcliff, he is smarter than that. Gibson to captain into the 2020 season. As for Darwin, this year they took to Sydney '05 premiers model where they hve 3 captain that take turns doing the toss. Bell moved due to a change in address so I suppose you can't really fore see that one?

No doubts I could have led better, but I guess old Mong if you and Leg want a shot at the title, I'm sure the Eagles would consider your credentials but my guess is your resume wouldn't read any better than an obituary.

Shot at the title OMG listen to it! glad u have the front to admit u could have been a better leader that shows something i guess but all i can say is from the other 6 clubs it was a case of to many chiefs and not enough indians at the eagles land!

Ryan Meyer was the duds name, worst cricketer to play at Marrara ever, since then Vowles' son has taken out the title.

As for Ralphy tonight, Berry has to be the favourite given his previous history and outstanding season. Smokey for me would be Calkin given his good year and would almost have had to be in the 2 or 1 vote spot every game.

Stats based Cricketer of the Year is still an open race given the Assisted vs Unassisted points for wickets. Personally I can't see Sam Miller taking too many unassisted wickets with that back f a length I'll-never-bowl-someone line that he bowls. Hanna is my pick. Smokey is Robins.

Spirit of cricket to Darwin.

Also, which all rounders stood up with either bat or ball over the weekend, Hanna a DNP, Miller legging it and Riechstein only a couple wickets, maybe even won. Did any change the game their teams way other than busted ass Tim Feehan with the bat?

Do you include Kensington and Waratah on your resume with references?

Considering Waratah would have me back in an instant and I've got some great friends at Kensington along with Darwin having a strong association with them, why wouldn't I have references from them?

Nope. Hopefully next year it is point deductions for clubs not having their mycricket stuff done in time.

Needs to been worked out better, it's too confusing as to which clubs do which parts. They need to make sure every one does it all or they do none of it and they leave it to nt cricket.
