A team to watch out for this year is Bundoora. This team has shown some huge potential with a team of 4 experienced players and the rest of the team of some true young guns. Only the one slip up against an average team is the downfall on this impressive team.
Anthony White: Probably bundooras best player with the bat and ball. Big wicket taker and tends to win the match with off his own bat.
Paul Scott: Has massive potential if he knuckled down and pushed through the hard yards, also a run machine.
Ross Adams: Easily the best bowler in barclay reserve. Should take the most wickets in the comp.
Darren Pendlebury: A lot of expereince and would hold the team up if they were in trouble.
Roy Dyson: Solid opening batsman, excellent on the field
Steve Montaldo: Solid batsman, opening batsman in the Under 21s
Ben Russel: Great keeper and very handy batsman down the order. One of the best wicket keeper - batsman in the comp
Brodie Odermatt: Huge potential with the ball and is very handy in slips
Simon Baring: Huge potential with the bat. Also a sneaky wicket taker
Ash Barker: Good opening bowler and can hold his bat if need be.
Sorry if i have missed out on anyone.
If anyone disagrees with this please share your views. I doubt it though

spot on , a very strong side.

Just saying that they are going to be a very hard team to beat once all guns start firing.

Put it away Panther, you're emabarrassing yourself.

Having played them, I can tell you they're nothing special and are far from Premiership material.

forums are about opinions.
and in his opinion, bundoora are capable of the flag.

Re: DVCA Barclay Reserve

Far too much Bundoora love around these parts for my liking, surely Brad wouldn't like his club turning even more arrogant. If thats possible I guess.

Thats a little bit too harsh as we are siting 3rd on the ladder

i cant beleive your calling us an arrogant club??

dont see you logic behind this.

Re: DVCA Barclay Reserve

Mid Wicket - that's correct, forums are for opinions and in mine, they're a bit less capable than Pink Panther thinks. It's a bit hard to judge exactly where your club is at when you're looking from the inside out. That's just my opinion. A person who has played AGAINST the team in question, as aposed FOR the team in question, would have the best view. I can be honest enough with myself to say that my team would struggle to make the finals even though we'll win more games than we lose this year.

Richo - that's also correct, you are 3rd on the ladder. But that means there are 2 teams ahead of you in line for the flag, the way PP is going on about it you'd be forgiven for thinkning that you blokes think you've got one hand on the flag, when perhaps you might have one hand on something else.

Don't get stuck into me just because I've disagreed with a loved up Bundoora player who thinks his side is better than every side in the comp because they've got a good blend of youth and experience and knows every blokes strengths and weaknesses (most players don't have weaknesses according to his bio of the team).

If you have a good look through most teams you'll see there's more than one with a blend like that, you'll also find teams that are full young blokes that will win their fair share of games.

Good on you for coming out and putting your opinion on the line, but you're not even guaranteed of a finals spot yet, so you can hardly say you "should win with flying colours".

That's just my opinion, that's what forums are for.

Re: DVCA Barclay Reserve

capt cuzz.

You are correct that is exactly what forums are for and you opinion is your opinion and its valued.

To those on this site with multi log ins so you can have the same opinion with different handles......ordinary act. BigCricket has identified you please stop.

Might seem like a good idea at the time but it is against the rules of BC.

Please cease, you know who you are.

Is that why "JB's Shadow" disappeared when "Tongs" came on the scene Princess?????

Re: DVCA Barclay Reserve

I was not Mod then, but there are people here, alot on the DVCA site that think its funny or cool but it is really a lack of charactor.

Sometimes they are not hard to find (although BC has tools) as they seem to agree with themselves and argue the same point.

fair point,

(in the bolded part) i think "pink panther" was just pointing out a few strengths with each player and giving support to why he believes bundoora can go on to win it.

not just because i am from bundoora, but i do agree with pink panther as i have seen alot of these players at their best and they are a very good side with alot of depth.
