You can insult riverside as much as you like but at the end of the day riverside make finals or not they take alot more from the season then a team that finished 2nd last.

So contrary to your earlier post denying you were from Whatmore it now appears that you are just another god botherer. Also pleased to see you now have some vague understanding of the word fornicate, can you please advise whether you are now into fornication?

Yes its true, 230 games and not one of them in A grade, I suppose thats what happens when you play at a strong, successful club. Wouldnt have it any other way.

Truth be know MBB you are just another dumb arse clapper that I've managed to suck in, you're in good company, my old mate the strangler, old man baker, ken peake, most of your 'C' grade runners up from 6 or 7 years ago, the 'C' grade team we chased 340 against with 10 players four seasons ago and plenty of others, lets face it you guys fall in head first every time.

Let me know what grade your're playing finals in MBB, I'll come along and have some fun at your expense. Hell if I'm a chance to play you next season I might even postpone my retirement for another year.

Make alot of runs this season ? You must of made more runs then your A grade Middle order ? You Personally?
6 years ago was that your prime ? Playing C grade Couldn't crack an A grade match? You must of played B grade ? no ? yes?

we all know the personality of the man behind the mouth, he has backed it up on more than one occasion.
i do find it a little concerning that he refers to Elks as old though...
if I'm not mistaken, he's been around just as long. although not as successful.

Sorry Milky, I didn't realise we were in the presence of a superstar. I thought you'd be playing at the G today? Can you post up your stats so we can marvel in your greatness? Let's hope they back your mouth up.

Correct weight. Just having a small joke with a couple of people who will definately get it, including the Isotopes himself. Elks was a very good junior Leggy (cant believe he isnt a good snr leggy), bat and apparently a very good football. MBB cant see the trees for the forest.

BCC have certainly struggled this year, that said we've been part of the finals action 2 of the past 3 seasons, not sure what riversides record is, or that of MBB. I remember the last dozen Barclay Premierships, cant seem to remember the Clappers amongst them but do remember some BCC success?

To answer your questions...
My stats speak for themself, good and bad, this season and others. That said thanks for the inspiration, 53 n.o this week, you may well have helped me to something bigger.

Im not sure Ive ever had a prime, but thuck Ive enjoyed every one of 230 games, who wouldnt playing with some of the best blokes (and cricketers) running round.

And for the record, i agree Elksy is getting old ( pretty sure he was the reason the lift had to be added to the new riverside pavillion

). More importantly, he and 100% bull have both been presidents of their respective clubs so i'm not sure anyone, let alone yourself can question the contribution they've made to local cricket...... (and yes, i know you only questioned Craig's aka 100% bull)

If i may talk about cricket now..

Looking at the results on the weekend should be a tense final day next saturday for aspiring finalists, The combined look done and dusted while Creek will surely put Epping straight back in, will take a mighty effort to bowl epping out twice but they've given themselves every chance. Riverside will need to stay patient if they hope to get the required runs. Baker and Gleeson the keys if they are to get them. Lower Eltham will be looking to secure a home final so i'm sure they'll make the clappers earn every run.

Unfortunately i injured myself badly training on Monday Night and it appears that my season has ended prematurley. Personally very dissapointing but these things happen.

Your season has ended prematurely due to injury? Come on, you're strangling something if you think that is the case. Your season ended when you jawed off 6 weeks before round one!

More importantly, W T F are you guys doing training on a monday? Riverside love the extra training sessions, someone tell gibbsy to pulley his head in, he;s not coaching Australia!

In fairness Tongs a couple of extra sessions might have helped the panthers stay in the big league??? I hope that you take some responsibility Tongs, haven't scored a run in 6 years and they still pick you in the middle order.

Think what you will Tongs. Dont make assumptions and then bag Gibbo out especially someone that is far superier to you. RS train Tuesday and Thursday. I wasn't training for cricket when i injured myself.

Clappers grounds finally got a fair amount of grass, looks pretty slow (sounds the same from all reports)
gleeson needs to make most of remaining total (always a chance with him still to come).
IF they make it...
are they just filling a spot, or can they finally put runs on the board for there desent bowling attack to defend. Good inclusion of Hartigan. could be handy with the bat satdy too
 
Good to see not much has changed on here.......very amusing. Spoke to Ellksy about all the comments being posted about him on big cricket about being too old etc etc and he just had one request - if people are going to talk about him just get the spelling of his last name right. Its "Ellks" with Two "L"s.
And yes Ellksy is getting too old for A-grade cricket and it's probably time he thought of umpiring in the DVCA instead of playing.
What grade do you play in again 100% Bull? I definately think that's the grade Ellksy may want to start his umpiring career in.
