this season is really interesting.
Got down to the Banyule game and Plenty game last week. A small hiccup for the youngsters at Banyule, they’ll bounce back this week. But NEW are in red hot form themselves!
Home team wins just I think.

Riverside to be just a little to strong for Rosanna.
DC in a low scoring affair over Epping
Heidelberg over Lower
Plenty to win in an upset over Macleod.
 
If Lower Eltham keep the same team, Whitcher snr vs Whitcher jnr. Wouldn't have happened all that often before I'm guessing?
 
Tough to find an "easy" win this season. Another huge round;

Diamond Creek to be too experienced for Banyule
Game of the round here. Plenty in good form lately. Lower have a couple of batsmen showing some good form and seem to have probably the better bowling line up on paper statistically.. so Lower just.
NEW to continue some strong form and win over Rosanna.
Riverside over what looks to be the weaker team of the grade in Macleod.
Epping in a high scoring affair over Heidelberg

If this comes to fruition dare say it could be lights out for Epping/Mac.
 
What does everyone put down Epping's start to the season? People had them as the team to beat early days....

Have the teams up the top of the ladder got there from everyone slogging or are we giving team a little more credit for the way they play?

I for one had them finishing top obviously won't happen now, heard a fair point. They can't bloody field and the best fielding side normaly ends up ontop.
 
Simple reason why u see likes of west indies, sri lanka or bangladesh make it to quarters of a world cup, but when they come here to Australia for a test series have they got a chance of beating australia? No. Smaller formats bring lesser teams into the equation (no disrespect).

The examples of those international sides are usually one offs. Not sure you can use that as an excuse when you are 1 & 5
