Why shouldn't you be allowed to talk about how the dvca players went in the falcons carnival..im pretty sure most people on here would want to hear about how some of there team mates and opposition players went in the carnival.
can someone give us a run down of the falcons first game today and any good individual performances. perhapss yourself fergie?

No-one is saying that you can't talk about the DVCA players but if they are playing in the Carnival then it makes sense to discuss it in that thread. It saves cluttering up this one.
It just helps people to find what they may be looking for. You have all this space on the site, why restrict yourself to one topic.

DAY 1
Mallee Murray Bulls 6/255 after 50.
North East Falcons 3/232 after 50.
Wickets - Hand 2, Myself 2, Reid 1, Phelan 1
Runs - Gilmore 70, Johnson 53, Abbatangelo 72*
The team played really well on Day 1, couple of mistakes in the field cost us dearly. Batting was good, but really only losing 3 wickets and falling 20 runs short isn't good enough.
DAY 2
Southern Rangers 184
North East Falcons 107
Wickets - Jackson 3 Myself 2 Reid 1 Campbell 1 Gilbert 1 Phelan 1 (1 Runout)
Runs - Abbatangelo 30 odd, Phelan 21
Well, bowling and fielding was exceptional today. But the batting really let us down. To the other teams credit, they also bowled and fielded exceptionally well and in the end, deserved to win.
So tomorrow, we are playing Central Highlanders at Donvale CC.
If any of you want to see some real quick bowling, get there because the opening bowler from the Australian U16 team will be playing against us.
Should be heaps fun

Geez, another day where we coulda, shoulda, woulda.
Pitch was fine, we just did not perform with the bat.
The Australian bowler was not as quick as we all thought. So yeh, that was interesting.
