Not sure where stuff has come up about Jack Reid not being able to bowl.

Takes wickets in the 16's every week, and in seniors (2's and 3's).
And is a handy lower-order bat.

That's why I said they were "underrated". You're a fool.

Anyone can come to the crease in any division and slog runs, it's about how you make them (same with wickets as well), and how you go about it.

All i'm saying is those three, as well as many others I could name are really promising cricketers, but simply go into the shadows of other big name players in their teams.

I don't know Trent Groom but I know a lot of the other players you've had a dip at. Your grammar is terrible, I'd say stop paisting out other players.

You can't say "oh my gawwwdddzzz, he shit coz he bowl shit", just because you've "heard" from someone that so and so aren't great cricketers.

Jack reid being rated is the most ridiculous thing ive ever heard. Surely there are better bowlers in this region than him!
He is a joke he bowls so wide u cant hit the ball. some will say he bowls tidy, i would say he bowls so wide you have to have a dip because no umpire is going to call wides.
Getting wickets off rubish deliveries doesnt make you good, just ask rhys dudley.
One of the worst bowlers to roll his arm over for the creek and ends up taking 35 wickets in two seasons.
Shit gets wickets boys, but shit doesnt get wickets in dowling, shit gets slaughtered for 4 mostly and if they are good than 6.
And tom gilmore will be captain no doubt about it, best bat, smartest cricketer. will have a ripper carnie.

There is rumour that i have heard from some falcons players that matthew jackson from HDCA is going to captain, and that kid is even lucky to be in the team

Someone whos concerned about the negativity on this thread, and how when people are slagging off juniors, which the majority of them haven't done anything to be slagged off, can negatively affect their cricket if it is read by them. Maybe when you bag someone, suggest a way they can improve rather than swearing and carrying on in an almost bad sport manner.

Gotta problem with that?

Yeah those comments from before were right.

Lukas Avramov is a star. Saw him bowl and bat down at the nets once and was shocked. Hits the ball so smoothly, and his bowling is so dynamic and unique. A genuine wicket-taker, look out in the near future.

Guys this is suppose to be a place to chat about cricket, the DVCA and the like. Continual bagging of opposition who cannot give a right of reply shows your lack of charactor and really shows you are second rate. Give it up.

C'mon, have fun, good ribbing is acceptable but stupid bagging and grand standing from behind a computer is just plain ordinary will not be accepted anymore.

We are trying to grow the DVCA forum on BigCricket to a social fun area, you can help.

I agree with Gilmore as captain, but as for slagging off on Jack Reid, definetly not on, he is a great bowler and a star for the future, a great bowler who also is a handy bat and can turn a match.

Did anyone see Ben Abbatangelo's comeback to the valley. I heard it was a great knock. If Mitch Johnson finds some more form with the bat plenty will be hard to stop. Thoughts?
