ahh boys I hate to alarm you all at 10:15pm at night,
but Ryan McLaughlin (that bloke who bowls left arm dirt balls) received a promotion this week, to E-grade.

Get down to NEWCC's top oval on Sunday and watch hacks like him (and matt duckworth lol) tear up the Bundoora outfit.

I am a creek boii and i admit their side is not even a 10th as good as last year.
Creek are not that good, they will get knocked off in finals, guranteed.

tru u guys hav got a decent bowling side but we new boys had an off day that weekend. w8 till the rematch

my tips for this weekend...

BUN V THO- Bundoora because we have alot of depth with our batting (baring,carlyon,russel,preston) and bowling (campbell,preston,brewer,taplin).150 plus should be a good score on our ground at the moment.

MP V ELT- dont really have a clue about either of the sides but i think mill park will win.

WH V LP- whittlesea because of komen and hughes in the batting line up. also lower plenty have very little bowlers.

RIV V NEW- north eltham to win easily because riverside showed very little against bundoora on the weekend.

PLE V DC- this game will be won by the toss, who ever bats first will win. my opinion for this is because both sides are both good sledgers and both easily sucked in.


i would love to hear everyone elses tips....

north eltham are just your typical choker, dont perform when the pressure is on and dont perform against the better sides.
Creek will not win the flag this year i said that.
Plenty will win it comfortably im thinking.
Plenty have too much depth better team, better players.
Two very good bats in mitchy and abba.
Watch those two smash the bowling in games to come.

Bundoora would only need about 150 to win, so them easily
Mill park to give Eltham a hiding, Andrews nd Groom cheap runs
Whittlesea, haven't heard of half the team so just goin by what people have been sayin on this site.
NEW, will smash Riverwho ???
Plenty V Diamo, It will be closer then most people expect, plenty will be chasing 220, johnson will hit winning runs off ryder for the victory.

Good looking team but could be heaps stronger...
any thought on people that were stiff not to make it?

Diamo will bat first and make about 190.
Plenty will come in and beat that.
Mitch Johnson to make a solid 50 while ben abba to also make a 50.
Plenty's Bowling and batting depth is too strong for diamo's liking.

Let's talk about some junior blokes playing cricket at district level
I know a solid bat Michael Sanderson plays 4's at Fitzroy-Doncaster
His the bees knees of the comp

boys i think everyone on this thread has to realise that you are playing under 16s in diamond valley and even though the supposed freaks (johnson,abba,dyson etc) play high senior grades they have not yet shown anything that would classify them as a "freak" player. i for a fact know that neither johnson,dyson,ryder who are all playing high grades have actually made a significant score this year and appear to just be filling up the numbers.


so the people big noting themselves and bagging each other pull your heads in and concentrate on cricket..

by the way representitive sides mean absolutely nothing especially on the junior side of it...

Phelan and ryder are doing well in B Grade for creek, ryder taking a few and Phelan batting well, Gilmore has got a 40* in A grade and Abbatangelo has made a 40 for Northcote, there not bad players
