Don't know what your response has got to do with Mill Park/Al Mann Odds?

Who might you be talking about, Jimmy Atkins?

The bloke your referring to is probably Rob Thomas, if he bowled spin he may get a wicket or two!

No I was talking about Jimmy Flyn. He rarely gets above spinners pace when the going gets tough.

All this talk about the teams for the grand final being decided in round 5 is a little premature I think. Whilst they have both shown a bit this season, and have a great group of players to pick from... it means nothing. How often have teams been flying, then basically fallen into a hole over the years???

Don't count ya chickens before they hatch... a lot can happen in the coming months.

yeh i respect that but u gotta look at the line up for the college. very strong bowling with gutterson and paine, 2 of the most intimidating bowlers in the comp. also hav a great batting line up to back it up with L. kennell- one of the best bats and inform as well with j.wallace with solid scores here and there and gutterson who can hit a quick 50. very good chance

That would be aaron greenough, but is only just starting to play again this round as had a fairly bad car accident this year and his legs are only starting to get proper movement now
Yeah Aaron Greenough, did a number on us a bit last year. Good kid and good bowler, knows how to bowl on the all-weather.

Al Mann into College or St.Francis, thats a better bet!

Concussion, what would be the average in the one's at college at the moment?

does anybody think that there is an age bracket that would best suit a team to go from Money to Barclay, in terms of maturity and experience to prolong their teams stay in Barclay?

Wizz whats the ave @ Mill Park?

as i don't want to pay out anything over 1 Mill, I'll say 50-1. If there was a bookie on here, he'd give ya 10,000-1.

Mill Parks works out at around 26.9 which is a bit of a surprise to me. Thought we would have been alot younger..Such is life.

You have no idea........... Andrew Avola into Mill Park is a better bet than that.

Don't sweat it Wizz. Looking at the line ups other sides look to be more like 56.9 e.g. South Morang :p

I would give 10,000-1 for greg duggin to make over 20 runs... maybe he is the one eating the training balls!

What about Whittlesea? With Avola and Molloy in the team the average is closer to 40 than 25.

No. The captain's eating the training balls. Apparently Greg's gone to work on the witches hats and stumps.

Enough talk about the franks. they are a terrible club, have by far the worst ground and facilities in the competition, their tea breaks are woeful, and their clubrooms are a storage container.

Fair enough the ground is pretty shithouse but our tea is always top notch! Sausage rolls, icy poles, selection of sandwiches, bakers delight twists, fruit, chocolate n lollies. Usually all of this is there!!!

Re: DVCA Money Shield

college are looking very good this year. hopes off moving up into barclay along with st francis. going to be a very clos granny between the two

Ave. age of Thomastown Utd 1st XI (Rnd. 5)

23.8 (Oldest 28, Youngest 21)

Not too bad... this is the 3rd-4th year that the majority (except 1-2) of this playing group has played together. All good mates, all go out together... really close unit.

Can neither confirm or deny at the moment Benji, lets just say his circumstances have recently changed and there is a possibility that the teams facing the college after christmas may be looking back at S.Duncan again at the top of his run.

I wouldn't count a couple more teams out though, maybe Mont & North Eltham...

Interesting to see College V Franks next round, comp will get a better idea of the closeness/gap between these two. a lot of comparison/talk this about these two so far.

Kooka who would you like to talk about? Perhaps your club?

One shot the 1's age range at the moment is between 24 and 31 and all 11 players fit into this bracket. Prior to this round it was between 24 and 28. Still the same blokes as previous years I think that a couple of years maturing and playing in the grade has definitely helped this year.

Mill Park and 1st outright of the season lucky it rained or it would be 2 in a row for the helpless hill billys.

Bats will smash morang by over 150 runs Lester 2 and 6 (big game)

NEW will beat Monts sorry ass very over rated team.

This will be a good game no 400 this week for Bundoora think Bundoora in an upset.

The big game:rolleyes: College will bring the Franks back to earth alot of talk lets see how good they really are they can talk the talk but can they do the walk?

The clash for the wood spoon Whittlesea and easy....Hurstbridge are a joke they have fat people bagging players why doesnt that fat guy play I dont think he could run a single...Then they have LUNA PARK as there 2nd captain what a clown of a bloke STEVE LONG YOU ARE A GOOSE AND A CLOWN OF A PERSON what sort of captain goes out after telling every 1 he was gunna make a ton then blames his mate for running him out. Then throws his bat not once but twice. If any one from Hurstbridge reads this that bloke makes your club look like fools get rid of him.

I was at the game to see the end....And yes if that was the captain of Mill Park he would no longer have a club to play at..But at the same time I have played againt Steve and he loves his cricket..

Re: DVCA Money Shield

Just having a look at the ladders, % is gunna play a hugh part this season. Whittlesea have dropped from 3rd to 7th. NEW have slipped into 3rd. Yarrambat down to 5th Mont hold on to 4th.And Bundoora 9th and have made the most runs 1233. Every wicket and run is gunna be so important at the end of the season. I think at the end of round 7 the ladder should start taking shape.

In the game which could go a long towards deciding the spoon. Panton Hill to win outright
Yarrambat by 200+
United to win easily
Montmorency to win. The coach of NEW to be sacked before Xmas
College to be sitting alone at the top of the ladder after this round. Lewis to drop his love child Del Mastro till for the rest of the season
Whittlesea to make 300 and win well. Old man Avola to crack a ton.

Picker Out

Just a question. What was the reason Simon Bray didn't make the Under 21's side? Did he not get picked, or couldnt play?

Deans Draper is a solid bowler but my opinion is that Simon Bray is a much better bowler than him!!
