Don't waste your big words on me my friend. I'm just a dumb old fast bowler that bowls very very fast.

Well that rules you out playing for College:eek:

Benji the kid your thinking of is young Greenough, (brother of "Freddie Flintoff" Greenough) dunno either of their 1st names.

How right you are about saving the best for last. If I was captain he would be batting at 3 and would have made a ton.

Benji wanted to bet on Mill Park winning Money Shield into Al Mann winning the comp medal (sure thing) What odds will you give me??

Re: DVCA Money Shield

Mill Park will win the Grand Final hands down. Have a good mix of bowlers and batters, will beat hursty this week and start to string a few games together. Batsmen havent made a great deal of runs other then stewart but wait for the others to fire. Petersen to make runs very soon.
Mill Park Vs Montmerency GF

Will all of you has beens and very very ordinary players come and visit me on the Barclay Shield Forum next year, since I'll be playing there when we win the flag. I'm going to miss all of your excuses (mainly from the Franks players. Grounds too small, pitch is too slow, our captain has eaten all of our training balls etc.)

What a joke!!! You must be taking the piss??? Mill Park wont even make the finals let alone the GF, and if they did make the GF and play Monty they would get flogged. There side is filled with a bunch of very average allrounders that arent good enough as either a batsmen or a bowler.

The kid Larcom-Cooper from Mont isnt too bad. Spin bowling is a loose phrase. Should be a bloke who spins it not a bloke who just bowls slow darts. Steve Murcott bowled pretty well against us after his 1st over.

It's now round 5 and I haven't seen a spin bowler play against us yet! new pitches offer a fair bit of spin and bounce...

No wonder we can't find a Warney replacement, not many spinners coming through at all levels.

who's punting?

greg duggin

Just havnt seen alot of spin bowling yet this year.... dont rate Duggins spin to highly.... John Groom has bowled really well at a higher level, just struggling to find his feet back on synthetic wickets.

as i don't want to pay out anything over 1 Mill, I'll say 50-1. If there was a bookie on here, he'd give ya 10,000-1.

There's only one decent spinner running around but he's out with a crook shoulder at the moment.
Actually the opening bowler from St Francis bowls some pretty flat off spin.

Its round 5, ive already played Mill Park and my personal opinion is that all the other team ive played against will make finals before Mill Park. Nice bunch of guys but other teams are better.

Petersen has been due since he made 300 in Q grade. What makes you think he will start making them now??

That would be aaron greenough, but is only just starting to play again this round as had a fairly bad car accident this year and his legs are only starting to get proper movement now

Don't know what your response has got to do with Mill Park/Al Mann Odds?

Who might you be talking about, Jimmy Atkins?

The bloke your referring to is probably Rob Thomas, if he bowled spin he may get a wicket or two!

No I was talking about Jimmy Flyn. He rarely gets above spinners pace when the going gets tough.

Yeah Aaron Greenough, did a number on us a bit last year. Good kid and good bowler, knows how to bowl on the all-weather.

May as well flush the cash down the can rather than put the bet on!!

Al Mann into College or St.Francis, thats a better bet!

I would give 10,000-1 for greg duggin to make over 20 runs... maybe he is the one eating the training balls!

No. The captain's eating the training balls. Apparently Greg's gone to work on the witches hats and stumps.

Re: DVCA Money Shield

Enough talk about the franks. they are a terrible club, have by far the worst ground and facilities in the competition, their tea breaks are woeful, and their clubrooms are a storage container.

All this talk about the teams for the grand final being decided in round 5 is a little premature I think. Whilst they have both shown a bit this season, and have a great group of players to pick from... it means nothing. How often have teams been flying, then basically fallen into a hole over the years???

Don't count ya chickens before they hatch... a lot can happen in the coming months.

I wouldn't count a couple more teams out though, maybe Mont & North Eltham...

Interesting to see College V Franks next round, comp will get a better idea of the closeness/gap between these two. a lot of comparison/talk this about these two so far.

Kooka who would you like to talk about? Perhaps your club?
