I think its because they are all living in dream world, there last chance to have a crack at the finals..... Rumour has it M.Jones is playing 3's to avoid being calles a SquaT Bloke.

hey, i agree with that. we just hang in there, play as a team, and try to avoid the spoon you told me we'd win. we feel we're clear of last place now, and look forward to another massive challenge after christmas (for 2nd spot). anyway, i'll see you at the chrissy party this arvo, and look forward to golf day. wanna have a slab on it????

1. wallace - has had a great year so far has one hundred vs mont the team who you think will win the flag and has made 2 othe scores of 70+.
2. b strickland - is a very good batsmen when he gets going has had 5 scores of 20+ this year, getting starts a big score is just around the corner.
3. t west - came back to cricket this year after 2 years out of the game has played 4 games this year and scored a fifty and has had 2 scores of 30+. is technically the best batsmen at the college.

It will be interesting to see if he plays in the 1st this week, and how he goes against his old side
All Edges, I did a bit of research on this Jones bloke you are talking about, played in 6 games made a total of 16 runs (hopefully he didn't come across as a batsman), and taken 7 wickets in those 6 games. Figures are not really supporting him being in the 1st, especially with the sides lack of performance over the past few games !!!!!!All Edges;296037 said:

With Panton Hill knocking off the college it has opened the top 4 rite up.
1 St Francis - hard to see them loosing, but finals is a hole different game
2 Montmorency - There experience and mix of juniors is a good combination. There experience in Barclay would be invaluable and they know how to play good cricket
3 NEW - The quiet achievers. they have a strong batting line up, and a good bowling side. The inclusion of Ethan Groves will defiantly help there cause for september action
4 Eltham College - Dogga will carry the team and have alot of side kicks that will chip in for 40's/50's most games. He is the key to college though
5 South Morang
6 Yarrambat
7 Thomastown
8 Hurstbridge
9 Panton Hill
10 Whittlesea
11 Bundoora United

Well now that we have ended Mill Park's finals ambition whats next down at the stables?Heard they may need to do some more recruiting as a one or 2 could be unhappy and looking for a game closer to home.
