Eca 2011/2012

Yeah, look it's all good Paintball lvr, no dramas , I just wanted to let Reggie know he can't get away with certain "banter" ! LOL !!
I know it's all a bit of light hearted fun ! I have got a sense of humour too you know! No probs mate.
Bring the cricket on !!!!

I've heard ashy's pom went down at training last night with a dislocated knee- huge loss if he has, big raps on him from the ashy boys. Anyone heard anything on it?

Big raps on him? The raps couldn't have been that big... He made 3 against skevs opening the batting & only bowled 1 over. judging by hawthorns 5/286 he couldn't have done much there either.

Matt Andrews got 6/18 off 21 overs for RC against Mulgrave.
Slack made 40 odd.

Word from a few City boys was that the 40 runs from Slack on Sat, given the wicket & slow ground, would be an equivalent to the 127 not from Tongue. Looked a class above most bats in Dunstan they reckon. Fair call?

Most of my best innings have been made with my team in trouble, but quite how 46 out of 176, can be considered the same as 127* out of 289?

If anything old Slackbladder has given it away getting 46 and getting out at 4/120.

Not really a fair call at all. Outfield was faster than it usually is at KB. Nick Laws has no problems making big scores there. And to say a 40 is equivalent to a century is quite ridiculous. Slack hit some ok shots but there was plenty not out of the middle. He should of been out on about 15 when he sliced one high into the covers and got dropped although it was a fairly hard catch. For my money Porter is a much much better bat than Slack.

Turn it up, Porter's no good. He's got a heart the size of a pea. There aren't too many great bats in the comp - the quality of the comp and come down drastically over the last decade - and don't shoot me down for being negative, it's just an unfortunate fact. Aldons, Parsons, Wright, maybe Judd (when he's making runs) and maybe Fernon are the only batsmen, in my opinion, that could comfortably play a higher standard.

Perhaps The Kop can talk me through the playing shirts I saw the Boronia boys getting around in last weekend? The Bonnie Doon under 14's called, they want them back............

I haven't seen enough of either to be making heart-size calls but from what i have seen Porter hit the ball much cleaner than Slack. I reckon Porter will make more runs by season end than Slack. Let's wait and see.

This is your opinion. There is no way no measure it.

Can you actually say something that isn't rubbish please. To compare a 40 to 127 not you must be out of your mind. Anyways slack is not very good. Played about 10 games in 6 years in district 1's and is a massive under achiever at mulgrave. So please say something good that can contribute to this forum

I honestly don't reckon our blokes would have been talking up Slack either so that sounds like some gamesmanship from our friend XXXX.

I am getting sick of him bumlicking a bloke who averages under 20 as a bat in dunstan. His numbers are not very good for a person of 'his' standard.
