I think that Ashy or GI will win it this year. I don't think Hawthorn or Skevs are talented enough (Tongue excepted). Mulgrave safe. RC and Marcellin very short to go down.

Mulgrave VS Marcellin this weekend... If Marc can pull something out of the bag, Mulgrave might be licking their wounds in the A Turf... A part of me wants Mulgrave to stay up to maintain the standard of the top competition, but the other part of me would love to see them go down!

Funny how Hawthorn don't seem to be talented enough, but are clear on top of the ladder. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but geez, you've got to give credit where credit is due don't ya?

Agree

Didn't Hathorn knock over GI on their home strip. Pretty good form and worthy of their spot on the ladder. As for teams going up or down they are only as good as their current form. History means NOTHING. GI, Skevs & Boronia have made Dunstan stronger. Check the ladder.

Yeah, look a bit disappointing by the Boronia boys, although - without making any excuses for them because they wouldn't like to give one, but, alas the deck was again, a road, and the GI boys would have been licking there lips on arrival from last weeks deck, and batted really well on it as they should and did and deserved the points. Maybe the curator needs to be given a word or two perhaps?? Well done also to young McDermott, especially, who showed his quality by making 80 odd ! Suckling didn't actually bowl due to an injury late in the game bowling from previous week which didn't help them either, but, thats just cricket these days and it'll have to present them more challenges to the table . The other bowlers beyond Bowen and Suckling have been stepping up in the last few games. But, not to be, the boys can keep rolling on and live to fight another day !
Surprised about Marcellin result though, but, there may be some more interesting results coming in the next couple of weeks I would imagine as it draws closer to the finals race?

What's the match of the round? Ashy v Boronia could be a verbal stoush - both teams love a chat, Bulleen v Deepdene will be hard fought and a real test for both sides, regardless of ladder position and Hawthorn will be worried about MA as it is a real danger game for them. MA and Bulleen seem to be playing much better cricket at the moment, even if both batting orders are suspect. GI will destroy ED, Mulgrave SHOULD destroy an unbelievably disappointing Marcellin and Skevs could win outright against RC at the nuclear wasteground otherwise known as Olney.

I think Boronia vs Ashy & GI vs ED will be the biggest bearing on the finals so either of these games I think is match of the round. I would say that the losers this week will be out of the finals race. I do think that GI will smash ED, and I think Ashy's batting will hold up against Boronia, they have lost the least amount of wickets which sees their percentage quite high.
 
GI v ED - ED will drop out of the finals race after getting smashed by GI
Bor v Ashy - Ashy back in form. Should make the finals from here and will be a dangerous semi final proposition
Mulg v Marc - Relegation shootout. Mulgrave should get the bickies at home... but stranger things have happened
Skevs v RC - Skevs to bounce back with a big win at home. They know how to play that ground very well.
Bull v Deep - Deepdene with their tail up and should win to consolidate a finals spot.
Haw v MA - On top of the ladder for a reason.
 
GI v ED - GI Boys will be to strong, Armstrong to make 100 against there net bowlers.
Bor v Ash - Ash are on a role....... Getting to the tough end of the season they always perform
Mul v Marc - Spider to run through the piss ants from Marc
Skevs v RC - RC in an upset !
Bull v Deep - If it is a 2 dayer Bulls will win.
Haw v MA - If it is a 2 dayer, MA will will.
