is your mission to annoy people gsmcc?

what a shamble of a club you really are!!

shame you guys got RELEGATED/DEMOTED/SENT DOWN!

hopefully in a couple seasons (personally i prey it's this season) you get the a*se from Geelong Cricket and they turn your dump of a ground back to a paddock or extend the factories.

go back to packing boxes you bunch of meatheads, no-one cares about Guild CC!

best bowler in div 2? last year probably cox from at

hard to judge div 3 yet, but best bat would have to be andy ferguson?
and best bowler will just have to prove himself. going on last year wayne kelly and dave middleton had awesome years. kel notching up 50 wickets in the grand final, and middo took 43 or something too

Middleton's an angry young man who should just chill out. Takes his own magic carpet ride to games.

Div 3 Bat - Fergie
Div 3 bowl - Fergie

-Div 1 Bat: Talarico
-Div 1 Bowl: Harper

-Div 2 Bat: Bourke
-Div 2 Bowl: Pretty even. maybe too even to separate. Bosworth has missed a lot of cricket.

-Div 3: Unknown sorry but would obviously think Fergusson would have all the bats and bowlers covered.

& for the record; Adam Gaylard made around 500+ runs at 48 and won the league batting average so would have thought he had Larkins covered.

I seen tonight that the T20 comp for the Grand Finalist from last years GCA Div1 BPCA SLCA & Colac comp is going ahead again, Its knock out with the final on the MCG later next year.
I'm pretty sure-

South Barwon will play Barwon Heads @ barwon heads on hard wicket
Grovedale will play St Albans @ Grovedale on turf.

Not sure how it will work with the SLCA being no longer it's own comp.

The draw is worked with GCA1 premier v BPCA runner up and GCA runner up v BPCA Premier, with the premiers to host the game.

The 1st Rd is mid-dec

It'd be good to see a Geelong team make it all the way.

Didn't Newcomb Bulls almost beat East Belmont last year?
And Teesdale almost knocked off North Geelong or East Belmont also?

You'd expect South Barwon and Grovedale will advance to the play off of the Geelong teams to see who advances to the next stage, might get the GF rematch earlier, I'm sure this would be worth watching;)

I'm pretty sure the GCA has no time for Guild and they'll never be out of div3, I mean why would they have a hard wicket team ahead of them in a virtually an all turf comp??

I'd be surprised to see them ever get back up, there 1sts played in the Grand Final in div2 last year and they still went down before the worse turf team in Australia in Marshall.

I'm sure they could get back up if they got their house in order as well as establishing a soilid junior program. The club has obviously been falling apart from the top down over the past couple of years and it needs someone to really roll up the sleeves and do the work. Being relegated into a div 3 before some clubs that were a lot poorer on-field last year is not a good sign.

we're the first to admit we're not the greatest club in the world. but with a new president, and full new working commitee, we're building back up.
as for being stuck in div 3, that won't happen. we're a good, proud club and we'll be back up there.

Dont forget your bowlers will have to bowl on hard wickets every second week also. Larkins made 700 runs for Bannocburn a few years ago on hard wickets against the teams he will come up against this year. Thing is he had twice as many hits as everybody else!

B.nichols has been nominated for Australia's next top Jet.

Channel 31 4am Friday mornings.

See me fire up my cannons.

This strike bowler, and hard hitting middle order batsmen, has been compared to the likes of Andrew Symonds, Richard Hadlee, Lance Klusner and Chris Cairns. Unfairly to the four above they only had half the talent of the Jet.

WOOO

GO FROGS

who are you?
i went through a few of the guild cc but could only come up with the following possibilities:

Middleton - wouldn't know what a computer is
Kelly - could've knicked a laptop but doubt he'd steal the internet aswell
Cowedry - would've already told us how good he is if it was him
Larkins - think his training with the Cricket Australia Academy so he couldn't be online
McClaren - same as middleton

so it's got me buffed who you are

This guy is the new Sharkbite, fair dinkum. Mate the joke got tired about 30 pages ago. Either start to contribute or pi$$ off. Hey Admin man, surely you can do something about this tosser. I'm not sure what forum he thinks he has logged onto but he is not partaking in any discussions whatsoever, merely just offering useless and supposedly funny comments. Wise up and leave or start from scratch.
