Mate please dont bring up Ross Aylmer in this, Richies is a O.K div2 bowler and I'm being jenerous there. Ross was averaging 40 in GCA div1 1st by 21.

Take it easy buddy, we'll see if you blokes ever get up to div1 if he's leading your attack then??

i believe dean riches got 4/25 then 4/28 in two weeks!! and that is in div 1 b4 we got demoted?? and he was only bowling as a 1st change bowler then... im not saying that he would lead any attacks in div 1!!

his not the best bowler in division 2 i agree with you on that one, i never said he was. his probably the 3rd best seamer we have when we have a full-fit squad available, as i said earlier he was asked to do too much last season because for whatever reason, injury or availability.
for you to say that he won't ever be any good cos his 21 and cant put the ball in the right area is ridiculous.
i only bought up ross aylmer because i was arguing that over a long period of time you acquire knowledge of the game and your ability and what your strengths and weaknesses are, i'm sure he knows more about his game now than what he did in 1988.

It probadly is harsh to judge someone on 1 performance, but surely after 2-3 overs of trash that he bowled something would click in his brain and tell him that he's not bowling in the right areas. Maybe if he hasn't got it by know it is the coaches down there that aren't telling him where he should be bowling.

You Thomson blokes take it to heart, maybe stop worring about whats said on here and show us on the field instead of dropping names and telling us how goos youse are.

He did bowl against Torquay, and took lots of punishment. However, that was 3 years ago. He is 3 years stronger, and 3 years more experienced.
