What grounds in Geelong have santa ana couch? and what grounds are getting it? It is a great surface for both cricket and football doesn't need much water and gets cut to 10-20mm so would be fantastic for cricket outfields.
eastern res Winchelsea has been done ,spriggs just starting to come up.

It ain't a rumor it's fact he was blind drunk and by all reports bowled pies today and showed the effect of a hangover big time:(

I hope that south nip this in the bud quick smart because if they take themselves as a serious flag threat they should drop him next game and set an example or it will be open slather and they can kiss their season good-bye.

They must of drank a shitload between 6-11pm then from all reports:rolleyes:

BOWLED PIES........ i walked off thinking i couldnt have bowled any better. but u know more about bowling than me then. I feel the best ive felt for years and ive got 1-1 and 0 wickets. its just the way it goes. if any one wants to question me about the wicket and outfield at newtown, feel free to.

Grinter Reserve (NDCC) is getting it. Council poisoned the ground late last week and are expected to start the overhaul late this month...

Same as St Albans reserve been poisoned should be starting in the next few weeks, there just waiting on us to finish with the turf wicket.

im sure dazza will put in his report. the outfield at newton was first class. lightning fast and only a 50m boundary to the clubroom side.
the wicket was FLAT, not one blade of grass, the ball was chewed up by the 10th over and by the end looked like a dogs toy.
Tough day for bowlers

Now I'm bored so remember we had a "team of good blokes" (shit blokes).
Who are some of the players getting around that are actual good blokes and more popular players in Geelong local cricket?

Someone start us off?

yeah I am not sure if bowling Pies is correct. A bit unlucky early on with a decision or two and a tough chance missed in the field. I wish I could bowl my pies with such pace and bounce as what Ando bowled on the weekend !! Although I reckon I would have him covered in the "remain calm at all times" category !!

cheers TTP, i didnt realise i had people from bigcricket following me around counting my beers.
one thing is for sure, i can 100% guarentee that when i wake up, there is no hang over whinge as soon as i pull into the ground its all cricket.

as for people not liking me at south, im sure they would tell me to my face and if not well its up to them. the improvement in the club since ive been at sbcc has been fantastic, everyone works together and people miss out on games, others probably should play higher, but we consider if you are a turf player or a 7ths player you get treated the same way.

i love hearing bout all my clubs ive had...... Thomson, Geelong and South im not sure where the get there info from but if GCC101 would contact me and let me know who he is then i would gladly have chat. (next people will ad all the rep sides) Get a life people i will be at south all year and years to come:cool:

Dont worry big fella, knob heads like that need to come to the break and sort this out and see if he can write on this forum with his fingers up his arse. . .

(thats even after cricket) bourney knows what im talkin bout

A colleague at work told me there's been more than one problem with Babbsys drinking since he came to South. I got told told on good mail that this is the case, the person who told me plays with your club.

Care to let us know what these things were Babies Arm?

How on earth did St Joeys get rolled for 160 by NDCC? what happened out there?

Spoke to a pretty good source at joeys, and they said Big Ford bowled 40 striaght and couldnt hit him off the square. Just show you not matter what happens if you bowl side of the wicket players are not likely to have a crack unless you have a pretty decent eye, just wasnt there day i spose. Dont forget NDCC didnt win a one day game for 2 years. 85 seems to be there thing thats if they make 160 odd.

Re: Geelong Cricket '08/'09(gca/bpca)

Don't know what these Cheetah cricket players/supporters are smoking at training but i do remember that they played bush cricket last year, (must have been sleeping with with BPCA commitee to get a geurnsey) But i must say i dont think they will be getting much sleep if that vein is popping out of murrays head and he has the sleeves rolled up to improve that nice tan of his. . . . :)
Nobody likes a welled tanned cricketer with a vein out of his forehead especially with a new pill in his hand.

Good luck cheetahs you may need to take out life insurance for this one. . .
