st albans shood go str8 in, better than marshall n guild combined. wil neva nt hav money as long as they play@stalbans as the footy club has heaps of caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaash!! agrree dino's r gunna struggle hugely!!

Maybe so but won't happen IMO they will be in div3 next year, which is a lower standard than BPCA so it will be a tough decision for them.

The GCA should give these(Murge & sta) clubs as much support as possible and maybe should put them straight it but it won't happen, and clubs like Guild and Marshall will get free rides year in year out:mad:

Played at Saints then left to play tennis or something... Played last three rounds on Permit.

I don't know a great deal about the two clubs but aren't all these juniors that NDCC are claiming to be theres all from St Albans (Mills, Hester & this Shiell)?

i'm realistic beck.. i think you've realised that by now. as for this other ******** gcc101, nfi who that c**t is.
i'm hoping, over the next couple of years, guild realises what it's done, wakes up, gets some junipors, builds up the rep and maybe slides back into div 2 and stakes a claim.[/QUOTE]

gonna take sum hard work from a lot of ppl, gewd luk to ya if ya's can do it, i cant c it happenin bt all the best :)

Maybe Badge if a few others were as passionate as you about the place, Guild might have a bit of respect in GCA.

i'm not the only passionate one.
i think, realisticaly, the best thing to happen to our club was getting dropped to div 3. made them wake up, realise what the f**k is happening to a once proud club. in st marys that is.
we now have a new board, a new president who loves the club and they've all been working hard to get guild back up. hopefully in a few years we'll be a strong club again and back at the top of divi 2.
the worst thing is really, st marys was a very proud club. guild were just disgraceful. now look at the club as a whole:(

Re: Geelong Cricket '08/'09(gca/bpca)

Hester started at newcomb and went to st albans to play with mates. He and Mills then came over last season to play turf cricket.. Sheilds then came late in the season on permit.. And they are not the only Players under 21 in the side.

Re: Geelong Cricket '08/'09(gca/bpca)

This is in your Opinion. he has show some composure, and spent some time at the crease. He may not have alot of runs under his belt, he doesnt come across to me as an attacking batsmen but one that will work away at the score steadily always knowing the equation. If he is to be measured by a Stat then sure u are right he hasnt earned his stripes yet.

Re: Geelong Cricket '08/'09(gca/bpca)

I unfortonatly can not see into the Future and cannot tell you the Plans of three 17 - 18 year old boys next year. I am sure that if thats the intention the NDCC though sad to see them leave would grant them a clearance.

Who are the other U/21 players in the ones: Josh Jansen other opener is only just 18.

Not sure who was in first slip last week as i didnt get there to watch..

Glenny H has only ever hit one 6 in 1st XI cricket and it was off the one and only Thommy Rissole !! hehe, at least you have a place in history from Glenny's point of view.

so if you have one club that seems to have two identities, one Guild and one St Marys how can that club go forward if you seem to have these two divides ?
