disappointing that the feted encounter will have to wait another week...equally disappointing that ur dream team managed to tip out my late charging opponent...next year buddy, next year.

Looks like ive just got ur measure for the time being!
Although ill shut my mouth because i might need to come visit u at work very soon, and i know how much damage you could potentially do to me there.

Is there anywhere we can check on how clearances are going? like on local footy where you can check to see who's cleared, declined and pending?

I have sent my inferior Sergeant Major Sphincter Muscle to have a look, last time Lieutenant Assram took a look around the Sergeant Major he really tightened up ;)

so by going off last seasons effort, where not good enough, remembering we had atleast 6 players under the age of 21 last season in nearly every game.. we havnt lost anyone so the younger guys are only going to improve and learn more from each season??

Yeah true, but GCA div2 is better this year and your kids are sill that just kids, just 6 months older. not up to it last year (even with home finals) and won't be that good this year.
Don't be so cocky cause you ain't that good very beatable!

I have been hit for a few largies, couple down godfrey st also!
Bear used to hit me miles at training.
Averaging 40 odd with the bat and about 25 with the ball.
Heaps easier to bat thou as the grass isn't the same length as Geelong and you can get much better value for shots. Wickets aren't great, slow and tacky. Oh and it rains all the f*cking time, so that's a nuisance.

Have you seen any of the former Thomson pommy meatballs?

Re: Geelong Cricket '08/'09(gca/bpca)

Who are the most annoying team to play against? and who are the opposition players that tick you off the most?

Here at Murghie, we are very pleased that the inferior Little River are now in the division below!

They have had an arrangement of people who used to make me blow my top whilst dominating thier fragile batting line up.

Balzan, Batties, Fraser, Fletcher some bloke they call richo, who i am not sure if i have played against but he loves a chat.

They could never handle me, never will.

GO FROGS

I know he is already having regrets about going there, just needed the money.

He has 0% intrest in playing cricket this year

Pity, he's an amazing talent. i think he'll play, but half-*rsed efforts from Smelly aren't great!

In my imagination, after posting this, bnichols went and stole a small childs ice cream and ate in front of him, just to prove how awesome he was.

But seriously, this cannot be the real Ben Nichols

At the break just having a frothy at the major sponsors!

Johnny is very sharp, who wouldn't be from 1/2 pitch, knocked my stumps over with a ripper not that thats hard!

we're no world beaters but 4 the standard we're in we'll be alright picked up Mick O'Toole from NDCC will be more than handy, kept everyone from last year, Muzza coaching should be OK this year.

Happy with our 1st session but it's a long year anything can happen.

Teams to beat will be Barwon Heads, Collendina, Queenscliff, Ocean Grove and maybe throw Port in there with Vassilou coaching

Re: Geelong Cricket '08/'09(gca/bpca)

I know people don't like talking about BPCA but why we're on it does anyone know anything about GWC&FC there new to our comp and i don't know much about them:confused:

Re: Geelong Cricket '08/'09(gca/bpca)

Big D*ck Booley has nothing on Big Les Thompson steaming in in the back garden.

Lets get on to the real challenges this season. Will Ozzy Boogs break the 1,000 pot mark by Christmas?

Will Norfolk'n chance make it down the aisle? Will he learn how to bat, bowl and field?

Will Hank Bolger come over and break his Geelong duck with the women after all these years?

He played in there two's mainly, with a couple in the ones.
Handy bat, he's from Warrnambool played in the Western Waves U/21 side a few years back before he moved to Geelong.

Sean O'Leary will be right for half the games pending work commitments which is a massive in for us this year, he didn't play at all last season.

Mick O'Toole your asking about? he came 2nd in the two's batting average with around 30, but that doesn't bother us just happy to have him and hope he enjoys himself at his new club and gets a few runs.

He was prob the pick of the batters last night at training, will add some more than needed stability in our middle order with Luke Bennett and Jason Murray.
