I think what might make the BPCA a stronger comp is that they are looking to go to an all one-day comp in the future which will suit a few cricketers in Geelong that can't play two weeks or cant be bothered with 85 overs in the field anymore.
That will be interesting to see what happens if that goes ahead, I think it's a great idea personally it's a shame we won't be there

The big difference is that there are a lot more good sides in Div 2 and it is a turf based competition, which by its nature seems to weed out the good cricketers from the park cricketers very quickly.
