Haha I remember watching him play at there when i was little. We watched him at Alexander Thompson- thinking how easy it must have been to play for England if he could do it.

so it can show video footage as well ?? I know the Swans are looking as a wish list at getting a scoreboard but that one takes the cake !! East Belmont has also got one but nothing like that.

Yeah it looks like a ripper, it's ran by a lap top via blue tooth so it can be operated from anywhere as long as it's within 150mts or so.

It can display anything that can go on a computer screen, so It will be pretty handy in displaying sponsors, other scores and racing results while where fielding;) etc. I've already been warned off about displaying porn too:(

Good little scoreboard, they have that at Medibank Stadium for the WAFL. St Albans must have a fair bit of cash to afford that.

Not sure, I haven't seen any at the games I've been to at Medibank Stadium. They do put up ads and scores from other games though.

Gee they're taking hits from all directions, man the battle-stations.

I dunno what your getting at with all this money talk Rissole, you seem to be a little grumpy with St Albans about something?

I have no problems with St Albans SBoW as you would well know, was just implying that when someone brings up St Albans cash situation the forum gets bombarded with posters telling us otherwise. I couldn't care less how much cash you spend or don't spend was making sure everyone was getting ready for the "war". I for one like the scoreboard, wish my club had the funds to purchase one too.

I know you have no problem with the supasaints;) I won't be getting into a slanging war with anyone about money this season (because I got a feeling we might cop it a bit from the other div3 clubs:D) all I'll say is if people knew what we were paying they'd be surprised.

Rissole would be more than welcome to come and play at St Albans, I'm sure we'd slot him in at 3;)

I'm not to sure exactly I think it's more around the $30,000-$35,000 including installation and the lap top etc.

that sounds too cheap ?? I think the one we have looked at which is only a pipe dream at the moment was around $15-$20K for one which only had text and numbers like a normal scoreboard. So only paying an extra $10K for that one sounds great. I like the idea of the roller door to cover it up !! Would be handy at local sporting club locations.

Yeah I think it'll be good, I think you'd find that a lot of bartering by Jock went on to get the price right down;).

I think one of the major bonuses is it will appeal to sponsors, eg. If your having a club function at day/night you could have your sponsors rotating on it. It looks a lot more versatile then just the standard name and numbers board, all depends on what your budget is though I guess.
