What a catch! Shahid Afridi throws his wicket yet again. It could get tight now. Just 3 overs remaining and about 10 an over required. Can Bangalore pull something out of the hat?

Very unfortunate decisions for both VVS and Styris there. This game has turned on its head in the last two overs. They've lost 4 wickets and suddenly the required rate has gone up to 13.6! Bangalore have to be the favourites now. Deccan will need a few fours and sixes to win from here.

What the hell has happened? Two bad LBW decisions has screwed Deccan. It looks like Bangalore will get to an undeserving win.

Well that was an exciting finish. Bangalore managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, with a little help from the umpires. You've got to feel for Deccan, but their batsmen deserve most of the blame. Afridi threw his wicket at a critical moment and after that Deccan was always going to struggle as they needed almost 10 an over. Gibbs and Gilchrist too failed to fire at the top of the order. Bangar almost won them the game in the last over but it was too tough a task.

Lol So many fireworks just for one game. Mallya knows how to celebrate. Very exciting game it was. I thought it would end soon when Sharma was batting but then they went crazy and threw away wickets.

That was a farce. Absolutely pathetic umpiring that screwed Deccan.

Anyway this game has been good so far. The stumping was a tough one for the umpire but I think he was out. Though no one would have complained if he was given not out.
I'm impressed with Shaun Marsh. He is playing well like the other day. He sometimes looks very similar to Yuvraj too.

Well I think 178 is a good recovery and I think it can be a match winning total. Piyush Chawla just destroyed Ishant Sharma in the last over.
I think Kolkata fielded badly and gave 10-15 runs extra. If they lose then they will have to blame the fielding.

The top order has failed yet again for Kolkata. They can't win many games if they keep losing the top 3 within the first six overs. Its going to be hard to avoid losing wickets and keep up with the ever increasing run rate for Kolkata.

This is all too familiar for the Knight Riders. This isnt the best of bowling lineups and yet they have lost wickets. I think they have already lost this match now. They seem to have no plan or at least they arent following it if they have one.

Wow Sreesanth is going for less than 6 an over. KKR is batting really rubbish. Well I think they are out of the tournament. I think Chennai, Delhi, Rajasthan and Punjab will reach to the semi final. I hope Mumbai can somehow get in but that is unlikely :(

The task is almost impossible now. Looks like this will be another heavy defeat for the Knight Riders. I can't see them coming back in the tournament. After the first two games, their performance has been terrible. They have lost their last three(four, if you include this) games comprehensively, and the batting has let them down in each one of them.

I think they have accepted defeat and just playing for the 20 overs now. We had a fantastic match earlier today but this one has been boring as there is no competition. I think most of the last few matches have been one sided.

Lol Chawla got a little taste of his own medicine in the last over. I think they now need a 30 run over to make things interesting.
Yeah Rohit the past few games have been one sided. They are having so many matches and so frequently that the excitement has reduced greatly now. I enjoyed the first 10 matches but after that the matches havent been so great.

Well some fireworks from Kolkata in the last few overs but I think it is too late now. They should have tried earlier but at least this match is become more interesting.

Wow just when we were complaining about the match being boring Hussey and Saha gave put up a amazing performance. In the end the last over that Chawla took 21 off cost Kolkata the game and also the poor fielding mainly by Gul.
They came a lot closer than I ever expected them to. It just shows that even in T20 you can take time to settle down and then launch a onslaught in the last 5 overs.

As Rohit pointed out earlier, it was the fielding of the Knight Riders that cost them the game. There were 3-4 occasions when they conceded 4 runs instead of just one of two.
Saha and Hussey deserve a lot of credit for making a match out of it. Had the top order done a better job they would have won the match.

Wow my prediction turned out to be correct. Kolkata lost it because of their bad fielding. I think also giving Ishant the last over was a bad decision. Agarkar or Dinda should have bowled in the last over.

i dont like this. the semi final lineup is looking predictable and there are about 30 more matches to go. it will take a spectacular turn of fortune for any of the teams in the bottom four to make it to the semi finals. i hope something like that happens but i havent seen any signs from those teams which suggest so.

Yeah you are right. Now everyone knows that Chennai, Delhi, Rajasthan and Punjab will reach the semi finals.
But who knows if Chennai lose the next 4 matches and Mumbai win the next 4 games. :p

I hope Mumbai wins today but not much hope. Delhi have a very strong team. Sachin is still not playing :(
