I don't doubt it at all Breeno.

It's a pity people aren't rewarded for their posting.

Re: Madrid Magic Team Thread

True, but like I said before, spammers. But you could say and extra 2 average points or something if you post over 100 times a season or something.

Spammers are why that isn't done however to receive bonus points their is a minimum amount of posts you need to make per season.

That's where you need someone who can mediate the posts.

Whether or not it's spam and so forth. There are some who post nonsense, but the others who post media announcements and banter in the game should be rewarded in my opinion. A poster of the season type thing?

Re: Madrid Magic Team Thread

If, for example, a player and his team don't perform in the season, but he post regularly and is around all year how would they get the advantage over the competition? Maybe give 1 or 2 extra average points to players who post and deduct 1 or 2 for players who are inactive? I dunno.. but it seems those of us who post (I know I've only been here for like 2 weeks, don't throw "you haven't been here that long" comments at me, please) aren't rewarded. Boncer is one example. He doesn't post yet he can come in here and still get a game. Maybe we could give 1 point to players who post say... 10? times in a week, and if they don't meet the quota take 1 away (having a maximum of 50 or something though). I don't know maybe thats too hard and complicated. But we should really look into giving ways of giving us who participate a slight advantage.

Re: Madrid Magic Team Thread

All the bonus points for posting will be discussed pretty soon in the lead up to Season 2. Obviously we can't change the rules for this season now but they could change for next season.

Mate, you didn't post before you were picked for the game... you weren't posting and you were picked to help out the batting and it worked. That's a prime example of how this can be a little unfair. Ahh well though, good work with your batting mate.

Yepp thats very true because sometimes a team who rarely posts is dominating, while a team who gets into all the banter is getting smashed every week.

One more thing, if people were going away for say..a week, then they could inform the mediator and then no average points are taken away, as Jolldo said, I think they'll look into this stuff next season.

Re: Madrid Magic Team Thread

Exactly what I was thinking. It'll be good to look into stuff because at the moment I think it's a flawed system. But we'll see.

Also good bowling guys! And good batting too, almost 400 on a bowlers pitch is fantastic! Great to see us back on track.

Mousey how many do you think they will get this dig? I have a feeling we may have to bat again..

Re: Madrid Magic Team Thread

Yeh, I think so too. Well their 200 behind, so maybe we'll have to get... 100-150. I don't think they'll top 350 though.

Bonc was here early in the season! An original so to speak.

Re: Madrid Magic Team Thread

He was here early in the season, exactly. But he wasn't posting before being picked for this week...
