eureka can you please act your age we have gone over this, and we are never going to agree on this matter. So much for your club to never whinge again and I thought your club was going to move on from this, (but seems you can not) so get over it all the juniors that you say we poached are very happy at St Andrews and will be for a long time.

Not from pacoe bud, just wanna no were your gunna get the extra jnrs from ?
I no a few clubs will be moving at the mmvca & nwca agm's that no more than 2 players per age group up to U/18's can be cleared from a club unless that club agrees........ similar to the edfl

Yep, the rumour is true. Some blokes just don't know when to give it away. The writing has been on the wall for a while now. Lets hope the 'gnome' makes a dignified exit.

GOTW, i for one can not understand how the Gnome has kept his spot for so long. Twice last year i played against him he produced nothing and just walked around with a massive chip on his shoulders. It is seriously time for St.Mary's to let this bloke go from there club.
Im sure if we dug deep we would find other reasons for him being dropped!

Is it true that he is "Chairman of Selectors" at the club as well??
Can this be confirmed?

Would be one of the biggest jokes if so......

So i hear that ST Andrew's is disputing the results from there game on the weekend any truth to this?

If so what would be the grounds for it?

Yes, but it has been dismissed.

He is a ripper bloke. Got alot of problems that he has to deal with at the moment away from the cricket field. After speaking to him on wednesday night i think it would be fair to say that cricket is the least of his problems and will enjoy just running around in the 2nds till christmas to give himself time get on top of the other matters.

Grass on the wicket if you played us twice last year you can only play for 2 sides and i dont belive you play for neither of them considering that both side have the upmost respect for MMVCA and would not carry on like a 12 year boy. do us a favour and crawl back under the rock you have been hiding under for the last 6 months.

FFNB (Matty D)

Yes he is chairman of selectors for us this year. Anyone that has played with him knows that when commited to a club he will put his hand up to help around the club as much as he can. MMVCA has not had the best run of late but i will back him every day of the week to hit more runs in one game then you ever will in a season

Go back with your buddy the rock spider and do what you leaches do under the rocks

Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat 2009/10

What are the chances of us playing tomorrow boys????
Who's wickets are ready?
I would assume no one had the covers down on thursday afternoon!
Going to be tough to get the roller on in time for tomorrow..........

I take it you don't play in this comp Reggie, as you would know we don't use covers on a Thursday.

At this stage, all is good for a start tomorrow.
Although, theres a lot of rain coming our way. Will probaly hit us through the night.

Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat 2009/10

Looks like rain coming down, hopefully it fills my pool up its running a bit low from the past weeks hot weather!
Hopefully covers have gone down this arvo.

Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat 2009/10

couldn't agree more, FFNB I thought you were barred, sorry to see you back, all you can come up with is personal attacks, you don't appear to have any appreciation for the game. Harry gives his all whenever he takes the field regardless of grade, his application and dedication to St Mary's is to be admired, I wish I had his talent and obviously so do you.

Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat 2009/10

Ok, thought I would let you guys know that the Umpires Association is not happy with some of the posts that have been put on this forum. They have put in an official complaint to the Association and have said they would follow this up if they believe any of thier members have been defamed. The Executive totally agrees with them and will support them.
As you should be aware everyones Big Cricket user name can be tracked quite easily.
If it ever gets to this stage (hope it doesn't), then I can gaurantee you that the player hiding behind their user name will have a very long rest from playing cricket.
As has been stated before, we are very short on umpires and just can't afford to lose anymore and plus this doesn't help to recruit them.
So lets forget about the umpires and discuss whats going on between the teams and players out on the park.

Cheers

Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat 2009/10

what is wrong with all you blokes!!!! have you got nothing better to do than bag each other over the friggin internet.

real upfront, courageous stuff

why don't you let your actions on the cricket field do the talking and in your spare time go out and try and meet a girl or something

FFNB - you need to get out more
