I can definately back you up on that one MMVCA. Most clubs dont like playing against Wally because he's so bloody good:D

If your referring to players you don't get along with, I would probaly lean towards a well known player at St Andrews.

Can't argue with that.

The only other spinners that might have taken over 15 wickets are Nugent and Kandage, but personally don't rate either of them.

I would have him just outside. Matty's record last season speaks for itself (40 odd wickets). I probaly didn't put him in my top 5 as he has never personally troubled me, don't think he does enough with the ball yet.
But he is getting better and quicker every year and is still young.@|

Nugent is no good. He actually made the ball bounce twice against us. And sammy can sledge, but dont rate him as a bowler.

Does anyone but us two read this board? lol

Also, forgot about Phil Eilers. When he is firing, you cannot stop him. But has a big weakness against the spinners.

got a couple of recruits coming, will def bolster the bowling, just need more consistency from the batting.

and yes, we did win a few games, especially when the useless coach stood down.

Will wait till the end of the month before predicting Top 4. Just need to tie up some loose ends with recruiting and see what other clubs pick up.
Although if St Andrews keep last years team intact, then they will be the team to beat.
Still havent heard much about recruiting from other clubs except for St Marys.
Merlo kicks off their pre season this Sunday.@|

First Vik Chand, now Lou, they sure know how to pick them at the valley.:rolleyes:
