Good question that, might be a personality clash somewhere or somebody has an issue. I know one thing though, the comp might have cost themselves a very good umpire. |@

Just a little over the top!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Better than the agro stuff and i am looking for a good wing man on the trip away.

Georgie is red hot favorite at the moment but work hard and you never know what can happen.

One more sleep Harry,me like you i have a nanna nap at work most days.

Everyone says good luck,but luck doesnt come into it,ability and making sure you play to your full potential on the most important game of the year is what counts.

Cant get here quick enough.

Bomber27 I can't understand it either.

I'm shattered, with my side not in the Grand Final I was looking forward to going along and watching the little fellar umpire, there's always something happening when he does, he loves to get involved. Now that has been taken away from me. I feel let down, whom ever appoints the umpires should be ashamed of themselves.

Must be friends helping out friends here I reckon, the best umpire in the comp can not get the main game of the year!!!

Something else to it, there must be.

Come on mate, we all play the game.

I just think it is very harsh.

It comes down to two teams now. Easts and Socials were just not quite good enough on the day(s)... If they were, us 'cocky' blokes would not be playing.

We (Saints) could have had an extra 10 points due to an administrative error. I think we well and truly deserve every opportunity to defend our title!

And once, again the better team performance, will win the title.

We have what, 4 team changes from last year. Doidge, Hamilton, Heater and Nugent are out for Josh, Luke Groves, Chris David and Justin Tappner.

Is this side as good as last year? Time will tell.

Good luck to everyone. I hope for everyone's sake it's a good game, and that we are talking about it afterwards as a classic.

I still think St.Mary's to win it, but really anyone can win in a GF that's for sure. :)

We as a club will have to get used to this tirade of obsenities as we go forward in the years to come as by no means win,lose or whatever this year the club is heading in the right direction both on and off the field.

Our club is built on character and we dont care who you are or who you play for as we are one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Already we are planning for next year and players of quality are returning and new players are wanting to come as well.

So if this means we are going to be called Krispy Kremes (sorry for the spelling) or whatever do it as by the time you have done this over the years you might be able to put words together with more than one syllable in it.

Just having a look at the MMVCA website, and it has as the emergency ground as Hosken Reserve, for A Turf, B Turf and C Turf! Surely there is more than 1 spare ground available, just in case?

And the 3 matting grade Grand Finals, are all being played at the top teams grounds. Is this normal?

1 spare ground for 3 games, you wouldnt want 2 grounds to be stuffed up, that would leave the competition looking stupid. Good luck for the game mmvca.

A game full of interest, St Mary's 204, St Andrews 2/21,
A couple of King Kong errors I thought, who wins the toss and bowls in a Grand Final?? and why send in No 11 as nightwatchman for the last over pffff?? by golly how Jolly for St Marys.
