Good luck to everyone today boys.

With St Andrews seemingly all but thru to the Grand Final, the interest now turns to St Marys and East Coburg. Hopefully it should be a cracker of a game.

Look forward to seeing all you St Andrews guys down at our game at some stage today.

Ok, then I accept that. As I said to the best of my knowledge though I thought pretty much all MMVCA clubs had paid coaches.

But my main point still stands Saint Andrew Cricket Club does not pay any players... There is a coach who recieves some form of remuneration but let me assure you he works pretty hard for that is without doubt one of if not the best coach in the Comp.

Talking just senior cricket I have played under at least 5-6 coaches and I promise you he is without doubt one of the better 2

Talking just senior cricket I have played under at least 5-6 coaches and I promise you he is without doubt one of the better 2

wayne shamra, neville taylor, bruce campbell, paul grandy and harry still at the club.

Wac, Nev, Brucey, Sonno and Butters are still all actively involved in the club in a playing capacity, Scotoes (Paul Grandy) comes down every now and again. But Harry??? No idea? Last name? Nev is still playing A grade and still one of the better players in the Comp. Wac, Brucey, Butters & Sonno all have a hit in one of our 1 day grade and are still killing it all of them.

Saints home easy!

St Andrews SMASHED Socials, Led by 'Smoke' Newton and Scotty with the ball, Jolly made 70 odd.

Sonno has 'retired'.........

Butters took four for 19 in the semi yesterday, he swings the two piece like it is on a string.

Brucey made 86. Highest score for the year.... The one day side won by 100 hundred odd runs. The boys are going for 4 on the trot.... No mean feat!

Woodhouse is a bloke in there playing for fun, first season. Bats and bowls. Could easily be playing A Grade. GUN.

You would love to be part of that team, because thats exactly what it is a team, there is no cob am or moonee valley it is all ST.ANDREWS now, so stop whinging about the past and worry about now.

We had to fight though. Easts were 1/84 after 47 overs, and we rolled them for 123.

Look forward to next week. I just cannot wait to see what is written on here this week. How many times will a certain game get brought up i wonder?

Well done to Stmarys and Standrews a holy battle awaits! Stsocials will be bigger and better in 08/09! well done lads for a good season anyway!
