Lets get one thing straight, i have no mates on here..... From what i have read of Komodos posts i think he may few issues as in spending too many days watching the grass grow!

Well said Dave, unfortunately I think because the season has been very unusual this year with washouts etc the true and genuine finals contenders haven't been cut from the herd.

As said earlier every game after xmas becomes very important along with the game this Saturday. There are potentially 6 rounds left and 3 of them are one dayers! The competition was always going to be close but the rain has evened it up even further, I doubt whether there will be any easy games left for anyone this year with the way the pre xmas portion of the season has gone.

Good luck mate, I hope we can see you guys towards the end of Feb early March and maybe get a chance to finish the game we started.

I've been involved in the comp CDCA / MMVCA for over 22 years and I don't think in that time we've had so many washouts in 1 season let alone half a season. And to think we're in stage 3 of drought restrictions. Keeps the comp close, but also frustrates players. I used to love washouts, it meant going back to the club playing cards and getting pissed. Do clubs still do that when it's a washout?

Griffo just trying to get this forum back to cricket mate. its mostly rubbish on here now! yeah it has been pretty bad start to the year with no opportunities. everyone is on the same playing field though. and the games before christmas are always worth alot. u dont want to be on the back foot before christmas!

Griffo just trying to get this forum back to cricket mate. its mostly rubbish on here now! yeah it has been pretty bad start to the year with no opportunities. everyone is on the same playing field though. and the games before christmas are always worth alot. u dont want to be on the back foot before christmas!

So back to cricket..... we all pretty much seem to agree smoke is the best bowler in the comp (currently) i'm just intereseted to find out everyone's thoughts as too who the best batter, fielder and wicket keeper would be?

they were right into that struggling middle order!

the scores tell the story. been lucky this year really should have 2 losses not including last matches robbed points ;)

they were right into that struggling middle order!

I wonder why you would go to the effort of looking at our stats?

Also wouldnt talk too much about averages because winning and losing is all that counts.
