Well fought out victory by the Bridges, but don't worry, the Banyule boys can bat...........well led and I'm sure they will be there abouts.

Maybe that says more about the individual than the club.
Pretty sure that dan is playing with his boss for hawthorn ammos. Dont begrudge either of the young fella.
Also note that playing memberships have increased 20 percent this year - maybe that says more about the club.

Pretty defensive soon as someone brings up facts about your club! Good spelling to you cretin it's jail and I'd guess in the year 2012 there would be internet, even if he was in there (read papers he's not). Didn't Macleod get labelled 'chokers' after losing 2 gfs in a row? Then beat a piss poor t.utd to get into barclay.

Was out at dinner on Friday, with a parent of a Rosanna player. Well aren't they bombproof!
This guy told me that they had won 5 in a row, and how they love beating Heidelberg, who are no good anymore....nek minute lol

" jail " is the americanism of the british word "gaol". In Australia, the correct spelling is gaol. It sucks to be educated !

Rosanna v Heidelberg is like Carlton v Collingwood, doesn't matter where they are on the ladder, it will always be a good contest. Alot of history between the clubs who get themselves up when playing eachother.

100% agree, ask anyone that has played in those games would agree that there is no greater local sporting rivalries going around. Game just gone was no exception, a great run chase by a depleted hberg (even if the ground was 30 runs quicker this week)

You'll find that all correctional facilities around the country aren't referred to "Jail's or Gaol's" anyway- the more relevant, appropriate and correct term is "prison" and or "correctional facility". Don't try to belittle people online because you'll come out looking like a keyboard warrior, especially when the point you are trying to make isn't as water tight as you think

They're still gaols mate whether they're termed correctional facilities or not. In the same way a Ute is still a vehicle.

Did you actually see where the origins of this conversation came from ? I was pulled up on an apparent spelling error by someone who obviously had nothing better to say but that's another issue .
Anyway , back to the cricket...
Yep, great result Rosanna going down to the berg. Money shield is alive and well this year.

Sucks to be a tool to I imagine! As 1 other said, Macleod must be great place to be. Wonder what ash wood thinks about his old digs.. Maybe it just sucks to be from Macleod?
