Only a matter of time with Plenty. There is too much talent in that side for them to miss finals. They will go close to winning Money shield if they stay switched on for the rest of the season
Plenty wins Money shield quite easily. Best team in it.
Good to see them touch up Monty & by the way, the opening pair @ Monty might just pipe down a little now after being embarrassed like that. They should refund their match payments.
They also have a rich history of winning A grade flags too. Just go inside the clubrooms and have a look next time your pleb club make a trip down there!

Lower Eltham, Montmorency and Banyule all fighting relegation it looks.
Can’t remember a time any of those clubs were in the lowest grade.

17yo made 50 on the weekend. Oca is not 49.Hey but at least banyule have an outstanding junior program
2 15yos made 50’s in B Grade
6 Players 16 and under are playing in B Grade.
14 yo and 16 yo took 3 wickets each in E Grade. 15yo opened the bowling. 14yo opened the batting.
12yo made 44in F3. 3 14yo and younger took 6 wickets in F3. The remaining 4 wickets were taken by 17yo’s. Kept a team who made 420 the previous game down 230.
Which club has that many juniors playing seniors and contributing.

Not at the moment but there are a few clubs I’ve heard of that are struggling numbers wise who will be having some preemptive discussions about their futures.
Obviously Lower Eltham is one of those Brutal.
Very interesting times for them at the moment.

What’s even more interesting will be the state of the lower grades in the competition come the 11th of January.
Lots of people still away/school holidays. Not the best decision to start EVERYONE back that early IMO.

Should have been 1 day games.
Everything bar the shields should be one day games.
