After seeing the squad I will go with 5-0

Who are most of these blokes?

They aren't bad players though. New Zealand have always been better at odis because they have nothing to lose.

Re: New Zealand in Australia

New Zealand need to find a way to strengthen their First Class comp, when it all boils down, that is their biggest weakness.

My suggestion on the Aus/NZ board I think would go along way to solving that problem.

Having said that, Australia 5-0 here.

I havent seen your suggestion but if they could get their teams to join the sheffield shield and ford ranger cup that would go along way towards solving it. Otherwise they need to invest alot of money into the youth and hope they come through as good players. Something that would take 10 years to fix.

Yeah I've suggested that before, NZ join the Sheffield shield and FR cup.

Great minds think alike!

Re: New Zealand in Australia

The Kiwis lost to a pretty shit PMs XI side by 6 wickets, the PMS XI getting up with a few overs to spare

NZ 5/271
McCullum 114
Fulton 53
McKay 3/53

PMs XI 4/272
Bailey 107*
Langer 72

Re: New Zealand in Australia

New Zealand to get comprehensively smashed in all assets of the game in tonight's match and the rest of the series.

I wish I could believe that D07.

It will be a tough series.

New Zealand were lucky in the ODI series against the West Indies and with that I believe Australia will dominate New Zealand with both bat and ball.

I can't think of any bowler that will trouble the Australian Batsmen.
They rely to heavily on D Vettori to both take wickets and keep the runs down. I just can't see that happening on these flat Australian pitches.

Of the top 5 scoring batsmen in the West indies vs New Zealend series, 3 of them were batting for West Indies. As I said before, I can't see New Zealand batsmen troubling the Australian bowlers.

Re: New Zealand in Australia

I think we will win but I dont think it will be that easy. NZ always turn up to play against Australia in this format though they are very inexperienced ATM.

Also great to see the WACA sell out for both the games this weekend. Hopefully Cricket Australia schedule 2 ODIs for us every year from now on.
