New Zealand in Australia

Re: New Zealand in Australia

M.Hussey definately shows what happens to Australia when he is in form.
Definately sets up Aussies for the win when he bats well.

Re: New Zealand in Australia

Didn't see Ferguson's innings last game so didn't realise that

But what could have the umpire seen to give that one not out? Thought there was a bit of bat or something?

Dont know to be sure, but I would of thought that the umpire thought he might of got some bat on it as he hit the ground around the same time the ball went past the bat.

On another note, I thought M.Hussey should of got MOTM, not D.HUssey!

Re: New Zealand in Australia

I thought it was a bit rough on Dave that they awarded him MOTM, and in the interview all the questions were about his brother.

Australian T20 Squad (Sunday @ SCG)
Michael Clarke (capt), David Warner, Brad Haddin (wk), David Hussey, Cameron White, Callum Ferguson, Adam Voges, Moises Henriques, James Hopes, Mitchell Johnson, Peter Siddle, Nathan Bracken, Ben Hilfenhaus.

My side would be:
D. Warner
+B. Haddin
*M. Clarke
D. Hussey
C. White
C. Ferguson
A. Voges
J. Hopes
M. Johnson
P. Siddle
N. Bracken

And supposedly gives a mean gobbie to the likes of M. Hughes etc.

That is a disgrace that he is in the squad.

Re: New Zealand in Australia

Henriques is a surprise. Plenty of potential, but he has been disappointing so far (though admittedly quite impressive at times in the 20/20 format). I doubt he'll play, but it really reflects the selection panel's obsession with finding an allrounder. Not a fan of his inclusion, but at least he's young. If he's going to be selected, 20/20 is the way to go.

Re: New Zealand in Australia

Why not pick McDonald and give him some more exposure at international level, especially if he is going to play the 1st test in South Africa. (i dont think he should)
