Why would you want to include a club that has got nothing to do with this incident in your post? You are more than welcome to come down to Main Street on Tuesday or Thursday night and explain to the committee and players your opinion on Camrea. We wont hurt you but I am sure as a club we could do a pretty good job defending ourselves.
You would not have a clue how much hard work and volunteer hours go into running a large successful cricket club. To come on here and take a cheap shot at my club is quite offensive and I am expressing my displeasure. If you had any courage you would come down and explain to us this comment? If you don't have the courage then perhaps you should apologise on here?
On a separate note good luck to all the teams participating in NMCA Grand Finals on the weekend. I'm sure that all clubs have worked hard to get into the grand finals. My experience tells me coin tosses are crucial and batting first is a significant adavantage.[/QUOTE]

spot on with the batting first...runs on the board are crucial

. you have no idea. we were the only team playing fairly on the day and that paid for nothing. you were led by an absolute cheat in barry parks claiming catches when they bounce 15cm in front of him. i still shook his hand after the game but if someone else doesnt just suck it up. i wouldnt be dissapointed if i was him if someone didnt shake my hand. 8 ball over ill find out who you are. Good work glad q at least u know how we feel. thanks only have respect for a couple now at cobras. have lost full respect for quite a few

After the game on saturday it was a couple of inches or just now it is half a foot next week it will be a whole foot, all I have to say is I thought I got it and the umpire said it was out. Next time you nick one to the keeper Mathew Perri you better walk! Sportsmanship is a two way street.

To the two or three whose hands I didn't shake after being fresh aired I apologise if I offended.

To the blokes involved at the two clubs that are mates there is more to life than cricket, don't let doubt over one catch destroy this.

On another topic, theres obviously a very active gathering here of NMCA players and lovers of NMCA cricket, why doesnt the NMCA put up there own forums on the NMCA website??? or at least request our sub-forum on big cricket? would be better then having a 120 page thread

It is being considered again.

I'll take a look at the activity and the number of NMCA threads and see if the demand is there (which it may be by the looks of things).

it was always half a foot from sat an prob closer to a foot , and the umpire didnt give it out he wasnt really sure an left it to square leg who took your word for it thinkin you would be honest being captain an all but that was a mistake wasnt it,wat makes it worse an especially for you was that any of your team mates that spoke to the rivergum players were certain it wasnt out an were pretty disapointed in you, way to lead from the front, would expect beta from you.

Bloody hell, does it really matter. The umpire put his finger up. One person made the decision to give it out rightly or wrongly. The Cobras players ask the question to the umpires for them to decide. Even if they are not sure if it is out, asking the question does not make them cheats. By this theory if a team appeals for an LBW then everyone outside second slip is a cheat because they can not be sure from their viewpoint.
If it was a bad decision it was made by the umpire.
You didn’t lose the game because of this, you weren’t good enough across the whole weekend.

You right. Camera had nothing to do with the game but when it comes to crying over spilt milk they are the kings. They invented and have consistently raised the bar in this category. Bunch of sooks at Camera and it seems as 8 ball over was insinuating that Rivergum are acting like them.
For what it’s worth I think Camera will win this weekend but I would avoid Main Street if they don’t.

Yes it does matter because some players that he is leading said he did not catch the ball.
