Leggett doesnt know talent when he sees it.
just remember he is a coach that has finished last for the last 4 years.
and this isnt the first time he has left top players out look at last year
he left the likes of Altis and Newell out

Metro squad has no depth at all, as usual
No major wicket takers, maybe eamonn or dougie
Batting is okay, top order of Dibbatista, hristovski, maratos n morris is the key to a victory.
What's the thoughts about trent groom not getting in and sean bolger as well, both very good carnivals in 14s

thought sean was very stiff not to get a guernsey, he's a class act. same with groomy and based on some of the players they selected, flinny was very unlucky too.

But... since mitchell shield form has dropped away
Simon Baring, surprise, very technical bastman from DVCA or HDCA

Good cricketers, id like to see them against some real decent bowling from both ends
And as for bowling, very open race i believe,
Corey Altis may be quick, don meen he is the best bowler?:S

Bats:
Greg Maratos will win the batting and is the best bat atm. Jesse is a great bat but isnt having a good run of form so far. Halbai is looking ok getting starts but not going on with them. Vozindis is looking good. not rated by anyone. Dale is looking good making some runs and tearing up the rivergum bowling attack last week.
Bowlers:
Altis quickest in the 17s but must find the right spots to get the batsmen ratteled. Sansonetti looks to be bowling well. getting good movement and bowling in the right areas. Russo looks ok this year. Watch out of willie parker, ripped apart camrea taipans getting a hat trick one to watch.

Keepers:
2 hard to judge for best keeper

Jesse started to look alright until the match was rained out.

Jesse was looking good friday nyte, the rivergum top order is looking very solid now. Couple new boys will help. As for Corey Altis i reckon u make a very valid point. If he bowls the right areas, could be very dangerous.
I think he should be in 18s cowboys squad.

under 17s this year has had a big drop in the standard and you cant read to much into peoples form in that, also some of the more overated juniors in jika would be simmons bloke form socials and nicholas bloke both overrated and think there the best players going around, though in the 17s altis is a good player as well as zakkour
