altis from wat i saw on friday nite was holding the team up wif the ball n the bat there team fails if there top 5 dnt make runs they drop there heads if zakkour n altis n vozinidiis dnt fire there underachiveres they could be a suprise!!!!

biggest bunch of crap i have ever heard
clubs dont pay kids and ive only ever heard of one that has offered kid and that kid continued playing turf cricket. This kid is still playing juniors now. and corey altis is not good enough to be paid anyways. his good at juniors level but not jika shield level

obivuously hes not gettin payed thats jus bullshit the greatest duno were u pulled that from but for cricket superstar obviusly he is good enuf to play jika shield level cse if he wasnt the club wudnt have him up there if his not good enuf first season i think great effort from the kid so far what level do u play cricket superstar????

juniors getting payed is an absolute joke if that is true surely not true clubs should breed their levels not buy them

altis is a top player but doubt he is getting paid, he shouldn't be.

hi all
just having a look at the weather and it looks like round 4 will be affected
should the comp bring in catch up rounds so teams dont miss out on games
what are your thoughts

this weeks under 17s div 1 preview and tips
Bundoora Park vs Preston Druids
Bundoora should be to strong for druids but if druids can post a good score againest a weak bowling line up they can be in with a chance. Halabi needs to continue his good form and make a big one if they are to have any chance. Sansonetti needs to take a bag since he is yet to take a wicket this season.
Bundoora batting too strong but as any team will tell u get newell and fox early and they struggle. If newell get going this game druids will have no chance of winning and newell loves playing againest druids as he made 100 againest them last season.

Camera Taipans vs Bundoora Old Paradians
Cant see Camera beating OP's while a one man bowling attack. Altis cant do it all so zakkoura, Smith and venerbles need to chip in with wickets. Look out for Dudley, Dale and Rumph to get going this week all capable of making runs and need to prove they belong at this level this game. Luke Course will rip through a fairly weak batting line up. Camera are the over rated team of the competition.

Keon Park vs Cameron
Cameron will get another win at the expense of keon park. Just too good for the parkers. Can guarantee that a couple of the parker boys will go of crying as cameron are the best sledging team in the comp by far but do go over board. Cameron should get over the line fairly easy it is really a match of the sloggers as thats all both teams do.

Rivergum vs Holy Trinity
Maratos to make more runs and rivergum dont have a hope in hell. everyone bowls for holy trinity even the keeper so they will have no worries in dismissing Rivergum and then maratos will do his bit and get another win for the triners

Keon Park are really under-rated on this board. I play for KP 15's and I reckon our 17's could go close to winning the premiership this year. Their bowling stocks are good, we just havnt been able to get them all on the park this year. Russo, McCann, Stone as the front liners. Dorman, Brown with the mediums and Nourish and Pisano with the spin if they need it.

The batting is where they are a serious powerhouse. You have Nourish and Joe Russo opening up. Nourish is a very good player, more a big hitter. Joe Russo's a class player and it will good to have him back. Pisano could go close to winning the average this year. No one rates him here but thats ok. Then you have Ferraro who hits it a long way, Brown who is the consolidater, Tatarskyj another big hitter, Stone the all-rounder, they bat pretty deep.

Watch out for them in the finals. I'm certain they'll be there.

Thats ok, keep under-rating them. They'll like that. When a Nourish, Brown or a Pisano or someone come out and smack a 50 or a ton against your mob, then we'll see whos having the last laugh. Have you seen these guys play?

yes my team has already played them this season and we were going to win until some unfortunate circumstances happened.

If im not wrong they scored 138 and Pisano made a 50? So why wouldnt you rate their batting then?

ye u r correct we bowled very badly and they r a complete bunch of sloggers.
every ball is dragged to the legside no matter where the ball is bowled. in a two day game they will get bowled out for under 150 alot of times

lol i was actually at that game because i was injured, and from what i saw they played every ball on its merits. when u play them in a two dayer it will be interesting because I think they're much more suited to the two day game. Nourish missed out on runs against Bundoora, and so did Brown. And if Pisano is the 'slogger' you're referring to, you're wrong. Far from it.
