good win by the gladdy boys...thankgod keeps me in the hunt 4 the tips lol.
wow makes 4 an interesting rd 3 boys.
paco v ccc wot a game.....these 2 day games r wot counts.
gladdy 2 go 3 and zip v roxy.
syd v kealba.....could sneek the winner in2 4th posy come finals time...lol.
paco v ccc.......paco hav it over ccc in recent times but i believe ccc r stronger this time around and will want 2 make amends 4 their poor showing v bp last rd.
as i stated earlier on in this forum...i hav a gut feeling that pacco r on the decline - will still make the 4.

the pressure is on at tip rat country .
gladdyboy , who got amongst the runs for you boys . the new boy campbell , any runs / wickets . i hear he can play
early call , kealba will not make finals and buckley park are cert's . ccc are just a " good ordinary " team that will struggle against the better teams .
word has it the vet leggie , rossy has walked ? can anyone confirm rumour

yes thats right mate danny opened against roxy he will drop back to 7 when he plays the good sides who have a bit off pace danny will take any chance he has to get some cheap runs
and ross wasnt happy about beeing dropped he played in there 2nds he didnt walk out off the club but he left in the shits as soon as the side was read out

No pressure at KGCC. Danny is doing a great job and has the full backing. He batted well Saturday, very unlucky dismissal. As usual bowling was tight and kept the pressure on.
Does anyone know where my old mate the "Stormer" is hiding? SHCC started the year on fire again I see
Gladyboy - You blokes are even bigger favourites than last year for the flag, you wouldn't want to stuff it up again

I think it is a bit soon to write off the CCC batting order, after only 1 poor performance with the bat! As for getting runs this week what about:

Ingvorsen

Thats 8 names off the top of my head.
I think it is a bit soon to write off a team who is 1-1 after 2 rounds.

I know quite a few players who don't get money and wouldn't take it if it was offered that's just the way it was and still is for some.The reality is most clubs are paying players in some way,albeit incentive based performances,or (some paying under the table). Long gone are the days when clubs could proudly say that all their players were only one club players.
You only need to look at the amount of clearances and transfers each year over the last 10 years from all comps to see people following the money.
Unfortunately the really sad thing about it all is that now this is the only way to compete and if you don't you are left behind, passion,loyalty and dedication to your club and the game itself is slowly vanishing.
Is it just me or do others agree that our game is turning into a "it's not what you know or who you know but it's how much money do you have to give me" game?

$$$$$$$ it happens in all sports these days - cricket, footy etc.
i didnt mention killa and russel earning $$$ just wanted 2 let every1 no where they were playing thats all.
ccc paying $$$$$$$ wow lets hope its all worth it.

Just to let you know 12th Man, the "Money Shield" is the Diamond Valley CA "B" Grade comp. That is where Russ and Johnny are playing this year. As for if they are getting coin well who knows and really who cares. I personally don't believe you could get that much paying in B grade!

It is always interesting listening to people talking about who is getting paid and who pays what. It is a joke because know one really knows anything. Most of this talk is rubbish and rumour. Half the stories of players getting paid are either false or exaggerated to rediculous proportions. I know of a few blokes who like to pump up their own tyres and want everyone to think they are so important to their club that they get cash when the truth is they don't.
There is not one club left in this comp who have the money to pay the amounts of money that is rumoured to be payed by some and talking about it all the time doesn't change that. All the clubs who have had money haven't spent it buying Luscombe Sheild flags. No they all go turf wicket and now play in the VTCA.
