second slip you must still be under the influence after a huge weekend !
all the above have played in the nwca prior to this season , some for many seasons. never help ccc go anywhere . how many on that list can genuinely win a big game let alone a final ?

money , who would in their right mind pay russell or killa ? both were just players in the nwca . killa showed some promise , russell soft as soft . both have announced to all their abilities by playing " b " grade cricket .

and who cares if people are getting cash . good luck to them . end of the day its 11 v 11 , best team wins .
greenvale ( edfl ) have showed cash doesnt guarantee success .
talent , teamwork , harmony , good club culture , committment are just some if the ingredients for a successful season .

go parkers , the smokey of the comp .

those 8 names dont even stack up against the other bating line ups and they will struggle against the good bowling attacks mcpherson will get hes 350 for the year and thats it berry and hocking are getting on but wont win you a match ingvorsen is a one hit wonder and is overratted shore kaakour will never make a big score might chip in hassan if you are relying on him to make runs as well you are in big trouble and carton dosent do enough never has so ccc will struggle to make finals may fall into 4th but the storm and tip rats wil be fighting it out with them

couldnt agree with you more . ccc will need team efforts , contributions from many to win games .
big games / finals require big players . any from that list ? not sure !

gladdy , b/park , pacco and syd have those type of players . they call them " match winners "

wow interesting posts.
ccc under the pump boys lets c wot they got.
no better time than this weeks game against pacco.
about matchwinners......i personally would prefer a team performance week in week out than hav a match winner because 1 or 2 players wont win u every game - although in saying that i would luv 2 hav a match winner in my side.
i dont think gladdys bowling line up is as strong this season yet they knocked pacco over 4 150...i no it was their 1st hitout 4 the season but im sure they would b thoroughly dissappointed.lets c how they go against ccc's attack this week then ill make a judgement on both sides.
sydenham played well 1st up but along way 2 go boys.

CCC won 6 games last year or there abouts out of 14 and missed the finals, what has change - NOTHING they have a long way to go, its the same side.

getting of the ccc subject , what players are going to take the next step this season ?

bowlers / bats . could be a young player or a surprise packet . who will help their team become a contender ?

now now boys this forum is not only about ccc.
how about the demolishing of pacco by gladdy and the good performance of sydenham against gladdy.
or mayb it just goes 2 show that the season is alot tighter than 1st anticipated.
wot about bp ....2 from 2.
1st 2 dayer this week....the cricket that counts at the end of the season.....good game between syd and kealba and wot about pacco v ccc.
i c afew of us on here hav written ccc off already....lets c wot the result is then i will make a comment or 2 about both these clubs.

one day results can be a little misleading . very good start by the gladdy boys . runs / wickets by their key men and runs / wickets by cpl new boys .
would'nt take much notice of pacco's first up . they have enough quality where its counts to win enough games to make finals .
by all reports syd were very good v gladdy . cpl new boys will add some quality while hackney has started well and is on track for a huge season .

b/park with erdo at the helm with cpl match winners will win their share of games to make finals .
totally agree with you captaindaddy re 2 day games . teams with class players / match winners and depth will rise to the top .
some interesting match ups in coming weeks will go a long way in determining the contenders from the pretenders .

sydenham 2 defeat kealba
ccc 2 defeat pacco
good luck 2 all sides in all grades this week.

Nah havent jumped off mate I reckon it will be close Paccoes strength was their bowling bowled well last week and you guys strength imo is batting so it will be whether or not you can make enough runs. I could have gone either way should be real close.

you will smash the hapeless roxy .

kealba to have a big win over syd , another fair call . i dont think kealba have any chance against syd . going from rd 1 results where syd pushed you boys , surely syd will be one of the big improvers .
kealba struggle to make runs and have honest attack at best . syd with hackney and co will be way to strong .

Hi all

Sorry about last week, i had a busy schedual and kinda forgot to put a post up!!

Round 3 (2 day game)

GP vs RP

Cant really see RP giving much of a yelp. The small GP ground may assist RP in posting a score, but i really couldnt see GP falling short this week. Shep and Johnny will make plenty of runs, wickets wont matter, too many runs alone from these 2 guys! My Tip....GP (10pnts)

PVC vs CCC

tough match to tip, both teams losing last week (PVC sunday) so not an easy tip. PVC appears to be slightly stronger and youthful, batting plenty of runs from Tripp and Hare, Cummings, Baron and Gick also very handy!! CCC appears to be slightly weaker in the batting but looks stronger with the ball! PVC will feel a little underdone cause they would have had 3-4 weeks off b4 the first game, with a bye and a sunday catch up game. PVC will be better in there second run, and will be stronger this match.......My tip PVC

SH vs KGG

Typically KGG not great in the longer games, but there batting stocks appear to be strengthend with some new players. Much the same could be said for SH, batting stocks looks ok. Beniwal yet to play Luscome, im sure in form he gets a game somewhere. Bowlers are steady at best for body sides, no1 really (by the looks) in both sides that could be of any real threat. Charlton 2 wickets looks solid, with Lorimer also. Catania and Storey lead a very similar attack. Plenty of new players to the NWCA in this match......My Tip SH


BP - Bye......Looking the goods, strong batting attack to 7 with Delaney and a few kids, plenty to look foward to by the looks for BP. They would be glad they weren't considered early, keep an eye on them, looking good!!

Some interesting selections there Gladyboy, if your club has a close game with Roxy this week and by all reports you were you pushed by Sydenham, is there problems down at Gladdy that we should know about before submitting our tips for future games?
